Other than mckee, and maybe Brennan (there is definitely better out there) I'm not too fussed about those 9 going. Hutton although good last season isn't anything special and splits opinions with the fans. If he wants to go to EK then crack on.

I thought I'd read a not before mid October as an earliest for grassroots? Yeah i think October is earliest we can hope for although I think realistically 2021 is more likely.

Apparently we can name 9 subs next season and play 5. Somehow I feel this advantages the clubs with big squads and big budgets. No way we are going to fill a bench next season. We struggled to put 5 guys on the bench for most of past 2 years.

Having a look at twitter and its awash with teams posting pics of them training. Loads of them ignoring the current rules about social distancing and the numbers at training. The SFA and government guidance couldn't be clearer. When matches take even longer to restart I can guarantee that its these guys that are on 1st to bleat about it. Did hear that action was going to be taken against teams blatantly breaking the rules, hard to punish 1 and not the other though.

Think most of us would bite your hand off to see Buchanan back however I think he will comfortably get a deal at a full time club. On Denny Johnston. Lot of rival fans on saying he's finished etc, hopefully he can prove them wrong, he was a good player a few years ago so hopefully is fit. I'm more excited about him signing than I was for Layne last season.

I made this point about WOS sides signing some big names a while back. Reckon there is a fair bit of cash flying around down there. Plenty to compete with league 1 and 2 anyway. Drumchapel are building a good side by looks of things. Apparently though the sponsors of Drumchapel have given Daz guarantees of a job plus he is coaching at Hamilton so tbh it probably works out well for him. There seems to be a good few teams at tier 6/7 signing players we would be more than happy with.

Are our players still on furlough? Does this prevent them signing for anyone else at the minute? Does it also stop them signing on with us? I know there are certain rules about being on furlough.
