The way things are going, and with the lack of testing that will be happening at lower leagues, I have a worrying feeling we may not start as planned unless things change. Forfeited games are going to be a distinct possibility down the leagues with small squads etc. 1 player tests positive, potentially 3 or 4 others self isolating and teams could be struggling to put a team on the park.

I get this but we play the game, pay £1500, lose, pick up potential injuries, finish bottom and get 20k. Or don't play, forfeit, finish bottom and get 20k. Seems a no brainer to me.

I struggle to see how things can realistically get going in october. There has been no guidance as to what clubs need to do to keep safe, other than appoint a Covid officer. There has been no info on changing facilities/arrangements either. Friendlies start in 2 weeks and apparently it will be restricted to 'local' matches only. I assume this will be a 25mile radius or whatever. The biggest issue may be parks, Glasgow life have apparently said that they will only be opening Toryglen, glasgow green and Scotstoun. Add into the mix the fact schools are not apparently going to be taking bookings leaves a distinct lack of parks available for training and matches in and around Glasgow for the numerous teams to play at from all levels.
