Should we assume Wighton ? Or another curve ball IE Benedictus ... I wonder I wonder !

Surely a "beta" kit launch ? Whens the real kit coming ... ! Not a fan, but after last seasons amazing "Remember" strips, can't complain ! On Barr, I immediately said despite me liking him as a player, 2 years with him is risky due to the fact he took almost 1 year to kick a ball, lets hope its just a slight mishap and won't leave us paying a wage to a player who's not going to be playing until 2016 ! For Watson, he can run and jump if that was his attitude ... He had an average at best season last season (don't get me wrong, playing along side Perry would hamper anyone's game), but I would like to think every player at this club knows their not the "1st names on the sheet" and we are putting together a squad who can all fight for a place or if need be, come in and do the job from the bench with the correct attitude in doing so ... No room for "I won't sign if I'm not starting" players IMO !

New home kit launched, Blue with White sleeves ... Thing about it on site @ 1pm ... Can't say I'm much of a fan of it, but the photo they have posted isn't exactly the best so I shall wait and see what other photos look like !

Kyle Benedictus ... Again not much recollection of him playing ... Good or bad one here !? What we thinking folks ...

Would be delighted if we can get Wighton on loan ... Seems Dundee fans think very highly of him so can't moan at that ! Would be another good move by McKinnon, all the right early signs, can't wait for this season at the minute !

Seems Mitch could be a decent capture for the left side to then ... Overall all the business seems to be very positive ... The change McKinnon seems to be bringing just knowing who he wants to stay/go, how he wants to play and who he wants to bring in compared to Murrays "I've signed him on FM" styled dealings is night and day ! Good early moves all round ...

Can't say i can recall much on Megginson so I don't really have much to say on that front ... What we think ? Good ? Bad ? Also notes a Centre Back should be signing next week ... McAusland perhaps ? ...

Think that's the bonus with Callachan & Vaughan at the minute, they've both proved they are good enough to be first team, so that's 2 first team players we don't have to go sign ... Who knows, Matthews looked good on his debt, another year or so under his belt he could be added as another first teamer, got Bates in there to ... This is why it baffles me why its taking so long to bring some youth through, obviously we will probably have a low output of players who can actually play for the first team, but it saves us money (larger contracts for more "known" guys), it could make us money (selling them on) and its additional players for our squad meaning less running around looking for new ones each season ... Win win all round, lets hope it continues for many seasons to come

Curious who the signing news could be ... It seems we all knew about Petrie and McCord before it happened ... Not heard anything else as of late ? Striker perhaps, or a winger !? Curious to see ...

Very good interview there in the FFP by McKinnon, in particular the quotes mentioned above about bringing the age of the squad down, bringing in some freshness and also the fact he literally said Callachan will be for sure 1st choice CM next season (I know we released a tonne so it looked that way anyway, but nice to hear the same thoughts/support from McKinnon to what the fans think !) ... A Callachan/McCord CM partnership & a Vaughan/Stewart ST partnership are certainly 2 that I look forward to seeing next season ... I'm 50/50 on the whole backline still tbh and I still would like a FB (even for cover so Thomson/McKeown know they won't be first choice every week, it may perhaps perk them up a bit) and CB to come in, add in a Winger or 2 and I think our squad looks pretty good for the forthcoming season !

No way in hell I'm believing big "Clum" ever had any abilities apart from being a fairy and rolling about like a f***y ....

Agree with what others have said, Hill is a brilliant player at this level, his bravery and sheer passion for the game is on another level & he will forever be remembered (in my eyes) for a "warrior" like performance Vs Sports Direct FC in that cup final ! ... Unfortunately it just seems we want to move onto a FT squad in which he won't want to go FT ! Definitely still a quality player for anyone who snaps him up !

God ... It'll be instant "McKinnon OUT" hahaha ! Surely the fact we handed McGurn such a long deal would mean he is #1 next season ... Or is it a giant swerve by the club in attempt to lure us to Starks !!!

P.S Elliot, Fox and Murray all gone in 1 season ... There is a god !

Think I would be happy enough with McCord, I do prefer Cawley but we could be getting worse than McCord that's for sure ... Seems McKinnon's first priority is to bulk up that midfield, that means we now have Callachan, Petrie & McCord on contract with hopefully Ando still to re-sign to ...

With you on both points here ... McKay was an absolute waste of time in which one of our own younger lads could have been giving a go & for sure for me Ando is a must to get signed up ... I'd be giving him a 2 year deal to, one of the few players that actually comes across as if he enjoys and cares about Raith ! On another note, County released Graham Carey to didn't they, isn't he a decent wide player !? Would like Richard Brittain to come back to tbh ... I know im clutching at straws here, just thinking aloud of a few wider players and center midfielders who are kicking about as that's what we need at the minute !

So Conroys away ... to a team competing with us, seems to be happening year after year but with the managerial situation this season I can see why other guys would be looking else where, no choice but to move on ... I'm another who would be happy with Cardle coming back, both Conroy and Cardle where a hit and miss with the fans, but both chipped in with a good amount of goals/assists so thats fine by me ... Unless we can think of better prospects, Agnew perhaps (unsure on his contract ?) Least it would stop him scoring Vs us ...

Thompson, Conroy, Ando or Stewart and that'll be fine by me ! Hoping for Stewart to unleash the Vaughan/Stewart pairing next season ...

Mirroring whats said, happy with McKinnons first interview, seems very calm, composed, relaxed and came across like he wants to put his stamp on our team with a specific way of playing ... Finally we have a manager that actually knows how he wants to play and will sign the correct players to do so, so yeah on talk so far I'm happy enough ! Interesting he said a few of our team have been in talks elsewhere, wonder who ? IMO only players we should be signing are Ando, Conroy, Stewart & Thomson (if he hasn't got a 2 year deal ?) ... Watson & Moon im 50/50 on after poor seasons, rest can go haha !

Thing is, with the likes of Hearts and Dundee having a huge clearout, along with others such as Cardle & Spence (would take Cardle back, wouldnt have Spence), Richard Brittain another former player that County have let go, there seems to be a few decent players going to be roaming about ... Hope we can nab a couple !

Get Stewart signed up and move Clum as far away from Starks as possible and thatll win me over ... Cheers Ray !

Strange time to announce the managerial position, perhaps the club just wanting to try clear things up after Malpas going earlier ... Pretty much McKinnon anyway so no real surprise by the sounds of it, just got to hope his first task is to start signing up a few of the lads !
