  1. Like i said in the Raith V Dee Thread, i would like to try to have took the Hearts and Dundee games with a pinch of salt, i dont expect us to compete with either of them, but i do expect some fight and determination from the lads, which isnt there at all .... Also conceding 8 Goals in 2 matches is absolute woeful & not acceptable in any way shape or form ... Murray needs to have a hard look at himself and give the lads a boot up the rear end ... Ill remain optimistic we can hopefully beat Cowdung this weekend and continue our semi decent league form, only time will tell ... Can anyone confirm that Perry & Nade both went off injured ? More injuries is definitely not what we need ....
  2. Sevco really are a club where the laughs just keep on coming ... Apart from 1 game, ironically Vs Sevco, I don't recall Robinson having a good game in any other fixture !
  3. Much better yesterday ... Amazing to see what a goal does, first half it seemed nobody wanted the ball, all of a sudden your 1-0 up and a few lads pop up and want the ball, 2-0 and everybody wants the ball, 3-0 up and its like night and day ... Give Murray his credit for whatever he said to the lads, especially at HT, and ofcourse credit to their character to bounce back ! That being said, Murray still has to show we can be a consistent team for me to get over my doubts, especially at home ... All the hard work from this week will be undone if we go and get pumped 5-0 from Alloa next week ... On a side note, good to laugh at The Sevco today ... Still top of the League hahaha !
  4. I actually think McKeown and Conroy just have to sit in a room and discuss what the hell theyll be doing ... Individually i think both will be an asset (Yes even McKeown despite his lost/clueless/horrendous last 2 matches), i think the problem seems to be none seem to know whether to go or sit ? Conroy is know to like to cut inside so McKeown should be making runs down the line to open the game up, they both just dont look like they read or play off each other, resulting in McKeown standing next to Conroy 5 yards away looking like a monkey .... Simple case of communication issues ? ... I'll try be positive about today and hope we can get the league off to a good start as it is a must to be winning games V the likes of Dumbarton/Alloa/Cowdung ... I just hope we actually do the easy thing and play football as opposed to hoofing it to Nades head (i can hope right ?), pass the ball and move into space, it aint rocket science Bert !
  5. Yeah i definitely agree with that to be fair ! As much as like you say, he has a good engine on him, i do notice he sometimes runs around a bit "headless" as opposed to just sitting with his man ... Really until Moon is fit we don't really have a winning situation, i'd just hope Callaghan would be a bit more hungrier than Fox if/when he gets his game time to prove what he can do !
  6. News paper talk saying Hill will be out for another 6-8 Weeks and Moon/Barr wont be fit to feature this weekend ... Curious if Bert will go with Fox/Scott again or bother his rear end to give Callaghan a start, personally i would go with the latter ...
  7. I think there has been to much crap and some fans (me being one, again i will re-say my point, i backed Murray last season despite others calling for his head for the last 4 month) have finally had enough ... How can you support a team that have won 3 games in 20 last season and have now been completely destroyed, outplayed and made to look like amateurs by lower league opposition ? Don't get me wrong, I'm completely against some of the idiotic ideas such as "protests" and such, but this has gone on since December 2013 and the BOD have done 0 about it. As a fan, i pay my hard earned cash to buy a season ticket to support my club, the least i expect is for these players, who lets not forget are doing their "job", is to go out and even if not win, at least put in a performance where they can walk away saying "ah well, we played our hearts out and where unlucky on this chosen night". I do not expect to go and watch a bunch of lamposts standing still all waiting on each other to do something, but not actually doing anything ... The BOD have to waken up and give Murray the hoof before its to late.
  8. I agree with this spot on. As i pointed out above, i was one for defending Murray in parts last season after we had a great start, lost 2 huge players and went on a horrendous run. I supported him in the hope that he would have a new season to learn from last year, learn what worked, what didn't work, what mistakes he made and even what positive changes he made whether that's via Subs, Starting XI or even in the training ground. He would have time to get in his players and play them his way ... After all, I just thought no way can someone not learn from this horrible run ... But after being to all of our games this season (2 Cups and all Pre Season matches) it is clear to me he hasn't learned a single thing and we will have the same rubbish as last season with the same "make subs with 10 minutes to go", and the same "ohh there's something not working, ah but lets keep doing it anyway" type football and for me this signals change is needed and needed asap !
  9. I'm sorry but anyone who doesn't think Murray is clueless and out of it after that shambolic performance last night is sadly as clueless as he is .... Make no mistake, i was one last season defending Murray against these "boo boys" so to speak, reminding them we had lost Watson & McGurn and our form dropped dramatically after that and that our start to the season had been the best in a long time ! But seriously, what the hell was that last night ? A simple continuation of the rubbish we ended last season with ... I'm surely not the only one who seen the CONSTANT attacks down the Pars right hand side, yet neither McKeown, Conroy or Murray who was 5 yards away from it seemed to notice and fix this in the first half ? That ladies and gentleman is a clueless coach. There was no movement or passing, nobody taking the lead and playing by example, just a lot of dross standing still waiting on someone else to take the responsibility. P.S Long balls to Nades head didn't work in the first 45 minutes, so why would they work in the second ? We seem to forget we where out played and lucky on Saturday, and in some respect where lucky last night to as Dunfermline should have had 4 or 5 if it wasn't for their lack of finishing and a few decent saves by Cuthbert. The BOD & Murray have learned NOTHING from last season, we are playing with Murrays team now, which includes 3 SPL Promoted players, who all lit fires elsewhere and only 1 got pass-marks last night. And strength in depth ? Again, i cant be the only one to notice our bench last night was our Under 19s ? 2 games or 20 games into the season, Murray is as clueless as ever. He even said he thought we deserved a draw ? REALLY ? Shocking Rovers.
  10. We should all be far from going into all out panic mode as the season hasn't kicked off and with our injuries etc, but one thing we need to sort is our consistency again this season, its seeming much like last season E.G beating Rangers 1 week to losing 3 Goals by just after HT at Home to Dumbarton the next. We played well Vs St Johnstone, but last night it was like "Men V Boys", all in the space of 3 days ... This has to stop, there's no mid-way performances, its always good/excellent or utter diabolical/suicidal .... Hopefully once a few lads are back in and we start to build on a solid first team and their performances weekly things will change, but as i said, Murray needs to try build some consistency, getting beat is acceptable in cases if you continue to play well and it was down to being unlucky on the night, but this "when we lose one we get humped" outlook needs to be flung out the window !
