  1. Err, you mean the team that is 10 unbeaten at home, having beaten Celtic and also drawn with Rangers? That sure was a terrible result! We are quite literally going to stroll to third place again.
  2. I'm not comparing Hertz to the Old Firm, obviously, but there is a separate gap forming between us and the rest. The perks of being the establishment club. Very comfortable. We're in that situation despite a European campaign in the first half of the season. The second half is going to be an absolute walk in the park to back-to-back third place finishes. I mean it doesn't get more clear cut than how things are right now really.
  3. I'm sure they will make all the difference.
  4. Desperate to lump the Hertz in with the rest. Cute. There is a clear gap in quality between Hertz and the rest as well. It's the reason why we're comfortable in third despite playing in Europe till the World Cup break, and will comfortably finish there again. Win our next two at home, which is likely, and we'll be miles ahead.
  5. Decent enough point after going behind early doors and considering St Mirren's home and defensive records. Surely they'll finally bag top six this season ahead of tiny clubs like Hibs, etc. If Hertz win our next two at home, third will be as good as in the bag.
  6. So 2,500+ on a waiting list to go with the 15,500+ existing season ticket holders. A reminder that there are some people out there who think Aberdeen are a bigger football club than Heart of Midlothian.
  7. Absolutely coasting to third place and the European group stages again. It could essentially all be over after our next three games.
  8. It's no exactly the bells yet, bud. Should you not be posting more edgy stuff like celebrating Craig Gordon breaking his leg? All while acting like one of the board's good guys, obviously. Nah. I believe freedom of movement is sacrosanct - unlike geriatric Brexit-voting fuds like your good self.
  9. Hopefully. Hibs have a stellar record of being utterly gubbed when it comes to stuff like that in the build-up.
  10. It's hilarious how the Simps just cannot bear seeing the rank hypocrisy of their precious wee Nicola-led diddy administration exposed, and so the circle jerk commences. Like, it's right there in black and white: Farage, the borderline fascists in Italy, and others all screeching to keep out the diseased foreigners. Despite the European Centre for Disease Control rightly calling it pointless and unjustified. But that just doesn't matter to them. They can never be criticised. To do so would be sacrilege.
  11. It's entirely political. Do we know how much genomic sequencing say, Mongolia or Tajikistan, are doing, and how transparent their data is? Will travel restrictions subsequently be slapped on people coming from countries that don't stipulate anything on visitors from China? A total nonsense, as ever. The Chinese Government are vile, but are playground games like this, that won't phase them in the slightest, really worth it for reinforcing the stigmatisation of Chinese people that already exists due to covid? Especially when it will be a short-term measure, yet the stigma will be long-lasting. The West and associated countries could have chosen to be the bigger person here, but no.
  12. Definitely a backwards (and monumentally dumb) step, but it's low cost, doesn't really change much economically (though will it damage confidence?), politically it panders to the idiots screeching for it, and ultimately connections with China will slowly return after essentially two parallel universes existed for nearly three years. I suspect this will quietly be binned once China's wave has ended. Remember the equally xenophobic and disgraceful treatment of South Africa at the end of last year? That was soon swept under the carpet.
  13. Will the Scottish Government come out and criticise this decision and back The Science™, or do they agree with wee Nigel?
  14. Sorry? This is textbook dog whistle xenophobia - led by the right-wing populists in Italy, and the Scottish Government will play ball as they always have with covid border shagging. The truth is most SNP/independence supporters don't give a toss about immigrants or foreigners. Rather, whatever policies they put out are lapped up without fail. Say we are an open, welcoming country? Good. Keeping out those Chinese people from their plague ridden lands so they don't bring their filthy disease here? Also good.
  15. Nah. This is just an easy thing to do to pander to absolute mind cripples until China's wave has finished.
  16. I wonder when the UK and Scottish Governments will fold?
  17. It is truly mind-boggling, and frankly terrifying, that we live among such people. Supposed 'progressive' types who (supposedly) support the EU, free movement, immigration etc, screeching for the borders to be shut to the filthy Chinese plague. Not even a hint of realisation from any of them.
  18. Not unsurprising that some Asian countries like Japan and South Korea would react the way they have to this, but here and across the pond it's basically only the hysterical Yanks (remember the outrage when Trump banned the Chinese from Democrats who now continue to be unhinged) and the right-wing populists in Italy.
  19. Common sense finally prevailing? FBPE whoppers in an absolute tailspin over this!
