  1. What has Motherwell's location got to do with any individual's way of thinking? Or are you suggesting all people from that area frame their thinking around Rangers and politics? The standard of debate on here is woeful.
  2. Your narrow-minded West of Scotland thought processes are of no interest to me. If a manager has recently signed a two year contract, and has a back-room staff, it takes little imagination to foresee a situation where a club paying fairly low wages would struggle to pay out the majority of a two-year contract to one or more people. They would then have to replace said management team on similar terms. The change would not guarantee any improvement in form or results. So potentially by giving a two year deal they are now in a position of having to let it run. Especially as I believe they are facing an employment tribunal and the potential legal costs and future pay-out on that. For Clyde's sake it would be best if they had some performance based criteria in the contract that allowed a dismissal without a large pay-out, but not many will have hat level of insight into the contract.
  3. I will bow to your in depth knowledge on the history of management contracts and Clyde’s finances in particular.
  4. HAVE NOT GOT THE MONEY TO MAKE ANYONE REDUNDANT. SIMPLE REALLY.
  5. Someone is going to get pissed off with Haaland scoring hat tricks and crunch him out the game for a year, so thst problem will go away.
  6. Agree with most of above, thought Hearts number 8 was dreadful. Fiorentina were harder working, more skilful, more adept at using their body when controlling or fighting for the ball. I watched Hearts midfield and they were miles off it. Totally dominated by Amrabatt (spelling) who looked a class player. From the very start Hearts players looked defeated and knew they could not win. Craig Gordon's distribution is unacceptable. If that is Scotland's third best team, the rest must be woeful.
  7. Too many missing the point. Firstly, with 24 hour tv , especially news, this type of event is a god send in terms of filling the schedule at low cost. Secondly, we now live in times where every decision made by those in charge of organisations is pored over and debated by the media and social media endlessly and criticised harshly/repeatedly. It is in no senior person’s interest to run the risk of upsetting the easily offended, so no one takes any risk now. Those who are offended by everything have created this environment and now we all need to live with it.
  8. I am not sure if desperate or embarrassing is most appropriate
  9. Not normally a post i would find contributed to a sensible discussion, but made me laugh
  10. Where is that virginton woman to explain this level of diddiness?
  11. Has the level of criticism meant that some of them have had their feelings hurt?
  12. Thought Christie was the poorest of a bad bunch on Saturday, and frankly not much better against Armenia. Too lightweight amongst other things. As goals are a perennial problem, I would give Stewart an opportunity. I have never been a huge fan of McGregor either, so would like to see Turnbull given a run-out.
  13. Why is Christie still on the pitch?
  14. Stewart on to help Adams, Christie off to lightweight. Robertson off to teach him a lesson that he is allowed to pass to someone other than his centre backs. And anybody on for Hendry.
  15. That boy at Blackpool thought he might kick-start an era of more footballers coming out - looks like it has gone way beyond that
  16. Always enjoy Stirling. Easy to get to, we have a good record and can take numbers for a good atmosphere. Into town on the way home too.
  17. What ilk would that be? Where have I told you about my millions?
  18. So, you are not disputing that you are intellectually challenged. Just who is to blame for it. Well if only you could have taken control of your own life, then perhaps the world would have been your oyster, instead of the bitter, small-minded, little man outlook you have.
  19. He's from Ayrshire too isn't he! Do you know him? Did he go to your school? Can he get you free tickets?
  20. I'm sure you can't. Eight words from you and anyone outside of Strathclyde & a couple of million inside would immediately walk away at a rapid rate leaving you bereft of another relationship opportunity. Never mind. You can always move back to the land of your uncle also being your sister!
  21. They know their audience. Targeted marketing. Next up, Jeremy Kyle adverts for Dryhorce and his family of Ayrshire intellects.
  22. Are you and Dryhorce the same person? For the avoidance of doubt I am not English, but I also don't hate them, blame them for everything wrong in my life, would love to have seen San Marino beat them, and will be at Ibrox tomorrow. Hopefully avoiding the likes of you, but I suspect that will be difficult.
  23. Convenient you don't remember. Probably lying in your own pish somewhere, singing about Jimmy Hill at the top of your voice. No harm in that really. Big day out in the big city, your bound to get a wee bit over-excited and cranky when you get tired. Good sleep in the car seat on the way home and I bet you were right as rain. Weeks and weeks of stories to tell when you got back to the Stab Inn at Teuctermuchty about how we slaughtered Liechtenstein and pissed all over their anthem. Great day oot.
