  1. Cheers for that! Looking forward to the Inverness match: look out for 3 random Burnley shirts!
  2. Looking forward to Forfar-Arbroath: a local derby! Keep an eye out for 3 random Burnley shirts!
  3. We'll be at the Edinburgh - Ross match. Guaranteed to be 0-0 after last night's exploits. Look out for 3 random Burnley shirts!
  4. Sorry to read that! I can confirm that me and my kids will be at the following games: Forfar vs Arbroath Edinburgh vs Ross County (Guaranteed to be 0-0 after last nights 3-5 match!) Brechin vs Formartine Dundee vs Inverness So, keep an eye out for random Burnley shirts!
  5. Still after the above information. Also, best pubs in Forfar relatively near the ground?
  6. Well, have bought our tickets for Edinburgh vs Ross County. Hope to see some people at the game, or maybe at the nearby brewery, which sounds just up my street!
  7. Any ideas how much Forfar will be charging for their home games? Think we're going to be at the midweek Arbroath one towards the end of July.
  8. Greetings! Any idea how much Dundee will be charging for the ICT game on the Sunday? Will it be the same price in all stands? Which stand would people recommend for the best view and / or atmosphere?
  9. Sorry for butting in. Thinking of going to the opening game on 29 July with my two kids. What's the ticket prices for the coming season? Is there much to do in town or surrounding area ? We're going to be based in Forfar... Thanks in advance!
  10. When do people reckon clubs will announce prices for league cup games? Anyone know what Brechin charged in Highland League last season?
  11. Or maybe the Highland League game at Brechin!?
  12. Think I'll go to Livi on the 29th. Less of a trek. Tried to go there a few years ago and ended up seeing them play at Linlithgow!
  13. Cheers for that. I've already been to Arbroath, and am looking to tick a few more off. We'll probably spend the whole day in Edinburgh, so I don't mind if the ground is not the best! Which of the ones I'm considering on the Saturday would you go for? "Falkirk, Patrick Thistlei, Livingston, Bonnyrigg Rose, Abion Rovers or Queens Park (at lesser Hampden)"
  14. Looks like I'll be based in Forfar or Cupar, I reckon. Thinking of these games: Tues 25 Forfar Wed 26 FC Edinburgh Thu 27 hoping for a European game or non league or something Fri 28 as above Sat 29 need to decide, and help/advice welcome, bearing in mind where I'll be based and good ground/atmosphere: Falkirk Patrick Thistle Livingston Bonnyrigg Rose Albion Rovers or Queens Park (lesser Hampden) Sun 30 Dundee Any thoughts or suggestions? The alternative involves a Forfar/Highland split: 25 Forfar 26 Peterhead 29 Ross County 30 Dundee
  15. Really looking forward to the fixtures coming out so I can work out where to base myself for the camping trip. Possibly the Highlands if Cove, Peterhead, ICT and Ross County fall right. If not, Forfar or Cupar I reckon could be my base. Exciting times! (When you don't get out much, like me! LOL)
  16. Thanks, that's great. Do they produce the fixture rounds at the same time, or does that tend to be a bit later? Hoping to make two rounds of fixtures i.e. midweek and then he following weekend. Fingers crossed for a Friday night match and maybe even a Europa League or Conference League fixture (not sure who that would be?!)
  17. Thanks for the replies! So late May, early June...I'll try to keep my eyes peeled!
  18. Evening all. Bit keen in asking, I know, but wondering when the league cup draw takes place? I'm thinking May at some stage? Just trying to get my (almost) annual pilgrimage with the kids sorted. Trying to add another 3/4 grounds again this time round. Thanks in advance!
  19. As a neutral (Burnley) fan at the game, I thought you played pretty well, particularly in the first half. I liked the way you looked to get it wide and have players on the overlap. That said, you didn't have a player who could really troubled their tall central defenders, so that'd be a worry - the type of delivery wasn't very good. Not as good in the second half, but clearly the better side still. Me and my three kids enjoyed it, although it was a hard sell for me that we got to see penalties rather than 5 goals at my other two options (East Fife and Dunfermline), lol. I also liked the ground: didn't realise it'd be on such a steep hill or so close to the railway line. We were in the McDermid stand which offered a great view of the action, although the net poles were a bit frustrating. Very friendly stewards, one of whom is a Burnley ST holder! We got a couple of free bottles of water, which was nice. I'd say you'll have a decent enough season, top half, but whether that will be enough to get up through the play-offs, I don't know. You were the 3rd best team we saw in our four games (7 Scottish sides, plus Santa Coloma). I'd have you behind Hibernian and Dundee, but better than Queens Park, Alloa, Montrose and Annan, in that order. Not sure if that makes any of you feel any better, but I thought I'd offer my two penneth...
  20. Wish I'd known that, on Thursday, LOL. Thanks anyway. We had a great visit!
  21. Update...car was fine. Got back to the campsite at 23.10. Happy days! Thanks again!
