Really can't see him considering the offer, Shrewsbury Town couldn't sort a deal out and they remain in League 1 and Swindon will now play League 2. That and I wouldn't be surprised if the Weir's have some input into the salary for Archie and Shaggy. I think Penrice looks a great prospect, slight concern it's a touch too early for him as a first team regular next season. Would have loved to have seen him in our squad at the end of this season though, get a feel of how he is progressing. Biggest worry for me is defensively again, I'd love to keep Lindsay and Keown, but I can't see it happening and would hate to see another bad start to a campaign due to an unfamiliar back line.

Yeah it's nice to see from both player and club. Perhaps he might even consider extending his contract with us, should he return to his previous form. In the end if he still wants to part ways we'll at least get something for it.
