  1. I see Stirling are 11/10 on B365 to beat Edinburgh City tonight. Given the Bino's current form this seems like a great price as. Thoughts?
  2. I never thought I’d miss the days we played good football and lost last minute goals. But at the moment the football is pretty fucking poor and we still lose last minute goals. I’m pretty sure every team in our league are well aware that we fall apart at the end of a game, so if they can keep it to tight up to 70mins then they will get something out of it.
  3. It’s looking pretty grim now, but like a lot of us I just can’t be arsed at the moment. Was planning Hamilton away but sacked it for the rugby. Already thinking I can’t even be fucked renewing my ST for this mob. Why can we never get things in the team right. Last season really solid defence and midfield, but absolutely awful up front except Doolan. Now Sammon is coming onto a good game and once again the defence is not looking great. It’s unreal man.
  4. I fancy Rotherham, Plymouth and Mansfield this weekend. All decent home form against teams that aren't playing that well away. 10/1 on B365
  5. Completely agree that it's bizarre and in that McCarthy has acquitted himself well. I've been impressed whenever I've seen him play. I've not been impressed with Barton in midfield, in any game I've seen him feature there. More game time for McCarthy I think would be of great value to him and the team. Penrice as well could do with a run in the team, either at LB or in midfield, Livingston fans seemed very impressed with him at left mid.
  6. You've pretty much summarised my thoughts over the last couple of weeks. I think we can all conclude Barton isn't a centre mid or at least not the centre mid we need right now. Far better in defence and I'd say overall the defence is far better when he is in it. I'm still puzzled McCarthy got a start against the likes of Celtic in centre mid, but yet Archie wouldn't play him rather than Barton in earlier games in the season. Based on how many points we've lost from winning positions do we need some sort of sports psychologist in the coaching staff for a while. You can see such an obvious switch in the team as soon as it gets towards the end of the game and we're only winning by one. It's such a panic situation and no one seems to be able to lead the team out of it. Almost kind of miss Azeez for those moments he could run away with the ball or hold it up. Also, does anyone know what the story is with Bannigan?
  7. Missed the game yesterday and absolutely thank f**k. Anything other than a win against Hamilton and I can very much see us finishing bottom. Losing both the *** games in the manner we did last season absolutely infuriated me. So rough today went absolutely tonto on it after seeing we lost.
  8. I had Bristol Rovers, Plymouth, Accrington and Killie last night £5 on to return £115 after Killie got a man sent off and went 2-1 down I edited the bet and didn't win anything. Checked the original bet later and all teams winning including Killie, absolutely gutted.
  9. I've limited myself to one can a day, with that I can get through most of the year. Hopefully enough time until they change their mind.
  10. Might regret this, but Asda in Slateford still had loads of the real stuff left on Sunday. Bought another load to add to the stockpile.
  11. Absolutely delighted, i'm up north that weekend anyway and get to go now. Was no chance of me making the midweek game.
  12. "So we're all singing from the same hymn sheet" Fucking detest this, usually work patter. Instantly lose all respect for the person.
  13. "As if" recently being used as "as if my b/f has just gone and bought me a Big Mac meal" "Fiat 500"
  14. I'm sure there were rumours flying about that Maxine Carr was having plastic surgery to avoid a vigilante lynch mob. Imagine this would have enraged "tax payers" but can you imagine being the surgeon to carry out the work, I mean, you could just make her ugly as f**k for bants? Highly unlikely anyone other than her would complain.
  15. It's kind of coming across like AG Barr have had a massive overreaction (huff) and have gone to the extremes to prove a point. I wonder how much the change in recipe overall has cost them? Then compare that to what it would have cost them in losses due to consumers not buying Irn Bru anymore.
  16. Is that all it would have been!? Fucking hell. Where did you get the info from?
  17. Not for Hendry, but for Lindsay maybe. I think he was definitely worth more, but time will tell how good the deal is, if he is sold on for a hefty sum. On that note I'd be pretty happy to see Lindsay in the Scotland squad, think he's deserving of a chance.
  18. Aye, was in last night. Dunno what was going on, I think seemed to be shut last week for a couple of days.
  19. 99% of it's drinks. Does that give hope that they will release Irn Bru classic perhaps? I failed to tell the difference between the original in work the other day. Gutted. Out of a can they are very different, but apparently in a glass it's harder to tell. No idea why.
  20. Fairly accurate summary of Haymarket pubs tbf. I just missed Carters it seems, pity, sounds a fair bit better. Would defo recommend Thomson's though, easily the best pub in that area. Lewbowski's sometimes acceptable as well. Was in Akva the other week, found it a bit of an odd place, absolutely massive and was of the same opinion, absolutely no idea what their base clientele is. With Blue Blazer being an acceptable local for you, you must live fairly close to me.
  21. Insta account saying apparently Sammon is going back to Hearts? Kinda sounds like a lot of shite, hoping so anyway.
  22. *£2.50 in Diane's. But anyway that's an absolute travesty, used to see the same guys at Diane's on almost daily basis and now their local boozer has been replaced with another generic industry owned pub. Quite sad tbh. Fancied Malone's as my new local though, but absolutely f**k that if it's £4.50 just for Tennent's, that's as bad Ryries. Depends where you went / how you look. It's really not that bad, definitely worse places. I like Thomson's on Morrison St, typical old boozer, good pint of Guinness and do good pies. Monty's further down is decent if you want to arse about with ales pretending they taste class to your mates. Good Whisky/Gin selection too. Blue Blazer the other direction is a kinda mix of both these places which is nice if your mates want to w**k off to ales while you enjoy a Guinness. Can't really go wrong on Rose St or surrounding streets/lanes if you do, you probably don't belong in a pub.
  23. I think it might be the sweeteners, just a guess. But it's an instant giveaway that you are pretty much drinking poison.
