  1. Ooft! That photo has to be the ultimate GIRUY. Love it!
  2. Great to hear this result. It’s within touching distance now. #Oh ho ho it’s magic You know oh oh Cheerio 10 in a row! it’s Magic! You know oh oh!#
  3. Great result, maybe made it harder than it needed to be for a short spell but we got there in the end and deservedly so.
  4. As I was saying, before our third goal interrupted me, I wasn’t referring to just this season. We’ve seen it many times over the years, we’ve gone two goals up and seemingly comfortable then we concede a cheap goal and the opponents are back in it. There were the examples I already quoted and there have been more. Anyway, hopefully now we have done enough and won’t give Livingston any glimmer of hope.
  5. I’m talking about over the years, not just this season. Ever since I can remember, a 2-0/two goal lead has always been something we’ve struggled with. The ‘91 final, the 2005 League Cup Semi, anyway never mind, 3-1 us. Now hold this time!!
  6. We have got to be the worst team for dealing with a 2-0 lead, we ALWAYS manage to chuck the opposition a goal and let them back into it.
  7. Next goal is crucial, we need it. If we go 2-0 up I think we’ll have enough to see it out.
  8. Kelly has been our best signing this season.
  9. A lot more urgency from us today, night and day from two weeks ago against St.Johnstone. It’s not pretty to watch but it’s encouraging to see a better attitude.
  10. Watt off injured, replaced by Long. That’s another big injury blow for us, it’s never ending.
  11. After a great result last week this is exactly the type of game that we’ll let ourselves down in. 2-0 Livi.
  12. My anti-Celtic stance is based on the manner in which that club and a lot of their followers act. That being to try and play a victim card whenever things don’t go their way in order to try and influence others. And unfortunately they are very successful at doing so. My ‘preference’ for Rangers is simply down to the fact that they are not Celtic and that they are the only club that can stop them winning the league title, thus putting their gas firmly at a peep. I’m no lover or supporter of Rangers but I do enjoy the misery that they are capable of inflicting on Celtic (in particular) and a lot of the muppets who are utterly obsessed with them.
  13. I don’t have a preference for a team that I don’t support. And judging by your second sentence it is quite clear that you really don’t have any understanding of what the word sectarian actually means. You’ve made yourself look extremely silly with that remark to be honest.
  14. I think your first sentence could certainly apply to you, more so than me. My team weren’t playing tonight so your point is moot. I might be a bit of a weirdo, but this weirdo is capable of forming and holding opinions, even if they are not the type of opinions that go along with the accepted position on social media forums like this. I don’t know that I really am hated, or gated, by fans of the club that I actually support. There will inevitably be some who dislike what I post due to the way in which I speak my mind on certain subjects, but I also know from personal experience that there are also some of them who agree with my views and are on the same page as me on a lot of my views. I simply give my views as I see them, agree or disagree, it’s that simple.
  15. There is clearly a lot of difference between both set of fans. Without wishing to defend Rangers fans, they are far from perfect in this debate, there is only one serif fans who have been solely responsible for a national refereeing strike. That same club were also responsible for getting a private detective to follow a referee (Hugh Dallas) after a game in 1999, at the same time as the same referee suffered personal abuse, property damage from fans of that very same club. I’ve said this many times before on here but I’ll say it again here. Celtic and their support are far more sinister than Rangers and their support. They are far more likely to use manipulation tactics and political bullying and in my opinion that makes them a lot worse than Rangers, who at their worse seem to reflect a very dated and backward looking outlook that was probably quite common in Scotland at one point, but in this day and age just looks daft and irrelevant.
  16. Because I’m not. What I am though is a Celtic hater. I hate the attitude that that club and their support display, ie. that they are some sort of poor, downtrodden victims battling against the establishment. I hate the way they use such an attitude and outlook to try and influence referees, match officials and governing bodies, by creating the impression that anyone who doesn’t dance to their tune/narrative is doing so because of bigoted/political reasons. That in my view is the most ‘bigoted’ outlook that exists in Scottish football. In short, I love football but I despise politics and Celtic FC are by far and away the worst culprits for bringing politics and political angles into the game and for that reason, along with the sheer arrogance of them and their support, seeing them lose like they have this season gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
  17. Well done Rangers, three points closer. #Champions Elect Ole, Ole! Champions Elect Ole, Ole! Champions Elect! Champions Elect! Champions Elect Ole, Ole!# Well done on your achievements, and from my point of view I am so grateful for the level of pain and anguish you have inflicted on Celtic and their hoardes with this title win(elect). The way they have conducted themselves over the past decade in particular, with the sense of entitlement that they have displayed (ie. Griffiths, Brown openly talking about being here for “the ten” not to mention the “Brendan Rodgers is here for ten in a row” chant) and to see it all fall down before their eyes is absolutely fucking delicious. Well done Rangers, make sure you enjoy these next few months and milk (absolutely milk everything) as much as you possibly can. YATP
  18. I’m not disputing that for a minute, but I seriously doubt that Derek McInnes, Steven Gerrard and Kris Boyd, to name but a few, are or have every actually been involved with the OO. That hasn’t stopped the Celtic support aiming chants at them claiming otherwise though and that’s no different to Rangers fans chanting at Clarke or anyone else they perceive to be pro Celtic being catholic/Irish/supporter of the IRA.
  19. Surely Steve Clarke wouldn’t want to get involved with Celtic given that their fans regularly belt out bigoted chants about opposition managers being sad and involved with the Orange Order? If he did then he would look very hypocritical and his (post 0-5 pumping at) Ibrox meltdown a couple of years ago when he expressed his gratitude to Chelsea for rescuing him from the bigotry in the West of Scotland would carry even less credibility than it did at the time.
  20. Fucking tremendous result!! Our best of the season by a mile and so good to finally get a win in Leith against Edinburgh’s second string club. #Oh-ho-ho it’s Magic, you know-oh-oh Never believe it’s not so# Stick yer Bridge of Doom up yer arse!
  21. Lawless finally makes an appearance, as Kelly makes a big save.
  22. Our best result of the season if we hold on here. Just need to keep it tight and give them nothing, as we know only too well how dodgy a 2-0 lead can be.
  23. Ironically one of our best performances this season was the 0-0 at Easter Road back in August. I reckon we’ll need to score again to win today as we’ll almost certainly concede at some point.
  24. The best ‘footballing’ side that I can ever remember Rangers having was the Advocaat side from 98-00. They had some genuinely top players then and were probably unlucky not to go further in Europe in that period. It’s mental to think that we actually beat that Rangers times a couple of times and haven’t been able to buy a win against much lesser Rangers sides in later years. I remember a 1-0 win at Fir Park in a midweek game in 98. Billy Davies first home game as manager and we’d just lost 5-0 in Perth on the Saturday, facing a star studded Rangers team and no one gave us a hope in hell. Yet John Spencer scored a brilliant debut goal to get the win. That felt like a real scalp for us.
  25. Quite optimistic for a draw today. I’d love a win over these Trainspotting ghouls but I don’t see it, so 1-1.
