Hopefully a similar performance this time then. I see Wilson is back on the bench. I'm guessing he's not fully fit, but it's a bit of experience to bring on if it's going tits up. Don't really know anything about this Gordon guy.
Just seen the teams for Saturday. Glasgow look pretty outgunned up front, especially in the back row where we have Harley, Fagurson and Thomas Gordon going up against Barclay, Watson and Mata. Not very confident about that to be honest.
They are pretty much as good as your team are. If you are chasing the title and winning most weeks, while carrying a big crowd home and away it's fucking great. When you are scraping around trying to avoid relegation whilst getting pumped by Dumbarton it's fucking shit.
Yeah, whereas if we don't, I believe we have to play one of Edinburgh, Bennetton or Scarlets at home, followed by Leinster in Dublin. The game against Edinburgh is massive!
Ahh, I didn't realise wins was the tie breaker.
Totally agree with you on Gray btw. Load of Edinburgh fans talking shite. Same with Wilson. Heard a guy on one of the podcasts claiming Luke fucking Hamilton was a better player than Ryan Wilson.
By my calculations, 2 points next week will do it. Edinburgh probably need 5. Wonder if we can engineer some kind of carve up here. The Irish would 100% do it to us....
From what I have seen online he has not fully made up his mind yet. But he is more than likely to pick Scotland and Townsend is talking to him and he will his decision before the World Cup warmups
I was sure I heard an interview with him either on the radio or a podcast where it sounded like he was already talking to Townsend and seemed very committed to Scotland. I suppose that means nothing until he's capped to be fair.
Fucking right, I watched that yesterday and he was Northampton's stand out player. It seems he is committed to Scotland, but I expect his recent form has meant there has been a few conversations with England. We really need to get him capped in the summer.
That was a great win. Still need to tighten up on the penalties, Ulster's joke of a lineout let us off the hook a wee bit. Munster will be gutted when they see that scoreline.
I totally agree, I thought he was really shown up on the 6 nations, especially at fullback where he was a complete liability. Both Hastings and Maitland played better at fullback when they had to.
I don't know. It might depend who is fit. Duncan Taylor can play fullback and centre. If he's good to go they might only go with 4 back 3's and Taylor as cover.
Yeah. We are defending pretty well, then giving up cheap yards through sheer stupidity. Second half will be tough going into this wind, though hopefully Hogg will deal with it a bit better than Burns.
