  1. I thought Pete Horne and Hogg were tremendous as well. Loved that try aþ the end from George Horne, just to really get it up them.
  2. Bonus point up, 8 points ahead, 5 to go. This could be our season here....
  3. From what I have seen online he has not fully made up his mind yet. But he is more than likely to pick Scotland and Townsend is talking to him and he will his decision before the World Cup warmups I was sure I heard an interview with him either on the radio or a podcast where it sounded like he was already talking to Townsend and seemed very committed to Scotland. I suppose that means nothing until he's capped to be fair.
  4. Fucking right, I watched that yesterday and he was Northampton's stand out player. It seems he is committed to Scotland, but I expect his recent form has meant there has been a few conversations with England. We really need to get him capped in the summer.
  5. That was a great win. Still need to tighten up on the penalties, Ulster's joke of a lineout let us off the hook a wee bit. Munster will be gutted when they see that scoreline.
  6. I'd have given it to be honest. Glad he didnt though because I fucking hate Ulster and want this to be as big a pumping as possible.
  7. I totally agree, I thought he was really shown up on the 6 nations, especially at fullback where he was a complete liability. Both Hastings and Maitland played better at fullback when they had to.
  8. I don't know. It might depend who is fit. Duncan Taylor can play fullback and centre. If he's good to go they might only go with 4 back 3's and Taylor as cover.
  9. Crazy from Ashe. Totally unnecessary as well and it's lucky it's not cost us!
  10. Ali Price there. Got away with it at least.
  11. Yeah. We are defending pretty well, then giving up cheap yards through sheer stupidity. Second half will be tough going into this wind, though hopefully Hogg will deal with it a bit better than Burns.
  12. The penalties are killing us. And that fucking nonsense there is beyond a joke.
  13. It was a great game. Richie Gray looked excellent for 14 man Toulouse who I think deserved the win.
  14. I liked it when he went on a da rant on Twitter about how it would be a disgrace if he wasn't allowed to park his car on the pavement anymore.
  15. Hamish Watson signs a contract extension for Edinburgh. Good news for them and Scotland. They've also signed a couple of Fijians, a South African hooker and another back row from Bristol, none of whom I've ever heard of.
  16. Last week's BBC rugby podcast with Wilson on is fantastic. Danny Care was absolutely seething. He seems to have almost single handedly broken English rugby. I believe he's on it again this week as well.
  17. Lads, I was there. I can't decide if I'm happy or sad but I'm absolutely proud as f**k. I also represented the P&B boys when I shouted " FUCKING SHITEBAG VUNIPOLA" and he clearly heard me, then an English guy tried to give me a right good talking to about my obnoxious behaviour at the end. What a fucking game.
  18. Is Hughes in the squad? Unfortunately he seems like one of those guys who are never going to be fully fit again. Can't remember the last time I saw him finish a game. Is Maitland still out? Jackson, Maitland and Graham wouldn't be the absolute end of the world I suppose. In fact, you'd probably go with Maitland at full back with McGuigan on the wing if possible.
  19. I thought Price did his best on the wing in a shit situation, but he killed us at the end when getting put into touch after catching the box kick under not a lot of pressure. No actual winger would have made that mistake.
  20. The thing that's been the biggest disappointment for me over this tournament is that I don't think many of the fringe players have really come in and out much pressure on the guys currently first pick. Hogg, Jones, Maitland, Watson, Barclay, Wilson, Seymour, Russell all still look guaranteed to start our first game in Japan if fit. Richie Gray and Duncan Taylor as well probably. Watson showed what we've been missing when he came on. He carried better than Strauss, tackled better than Ritchie and jackled better than anyone. Last season we were all about turnover ball and fast counter attacking. This season we've had no turnover ball to counter from. From that point of view surely Hardie was worth a try at some point?
  21. Hastings has been miles better at fullback than Kinghorn so far.
  22. Kinghorn was shite again before he went off. I have no idea why he's so highly rated.
  23. I reckon there will be a lot of box kicks to Graham. The Welsh wingers are big so it'll be a real test for him. To be honest, I don't really see any area where we have the edge over Wales, apart from at no 10. Previously I'd have taken Seymour over any Welsh winger as well, but not anymore, and the forwards, especially the back row, look outgunned. It's going to need a huge effort and we can't afford to give away any cheap points. I'm hoping for the best, but I think it could be a long afternoon.
  24. Team for Saturday. Not overly confident in this lot to be honest. It's amazing how centre has gone from a huge strength to an absolutely glaring weakness this year.
