  1. In their defence, they were probably shitfaced by the time they decided to move on.
  2. Those in isolation would be allowed out on the 19th. They need a days training.
  3. From the reason given for the postponement i think they're tbc. The fermers game was postponed so we could demonstrate adherence to protocols and not because of unavailable players so they aren't necessarily postponed.
  4. But some 2nd rate hacks have been tweeting about bubbles. They wouldn't repeat half understood inaccurate rubbish.
  5. Points deduction and sackings all round for the Hibees as well then. Unless we are only punishing people who catch it, which would be a bit harsh tbh. Should probably just hang all teams to be on the safe side.
  6. If the players were told they could go out for a beer then the blame moves from the individuals to the club. If that's the case then Aberdeen should be punished severely. If we're dealing with imaginary scenarios i'd expect the SFA to expel St Johnstone if they were involved in an international sex trafficking racket.
  7. It seems to be an urban myth off of the twitter derived from a requirement to prepare for matches from home where possible. Unless there are also unpublished rules somewhere. It seems far from clear that the letter if the law/protocols was actually breached here. Clearly though the spirit of the agreement is to be extra careful so games can be played. As far as i can tell the agreement is between the clubs/authorities and the govt. Presumably players will be tied in by the usual conduct and availability clauses. I can't see any way in which players are directly subject to a restriction on their freedoms apart from the normal social distancing stuff. I expect there's a legal minefield to navigate and that's why everything's being requested and agreed rather than imposed.
  8. The bbc (only place i can see this so far) is saying the game is postponed. Would be unusual to give a walkover for that.
  9. That midfield is way too attacking. Del will probably put virtanen and cerny in there.
  10. The players have fucked up quite hugely and obviously. It isn't clear that they have necessarily broken rules by going for a drink. You are either being naive or deliberately obtuse if you really think the government isn't spinning this to absolve them of any responsibility. We are down another 6-8 players for three matches and two of the players have a potentially (but hopefully not) serious disease. What is the point of the government tutting publicly about young guys going to pubs. They are just being grandstanding hypocritical b*****ds (aka politicians)
  11. The club and the SPFL have said that have they? Would you be so kind as to provide a link because that news isn't on my Internet.
  12. There are detailed documents on the SFA site about testing procedures and matchday procedures which say nothing clear about "bubbles". They do say that players should prepare for matches at their home address and eat alone when preparing for matches. This bit could probably be interpreted as suggesting that players should isolate more than the public (or maintain a bubble whatever that means this week). I'd imagine it's worded in terms of "prearing for matches" because that is part of a player's employment and the club can't necessarily restrict them outside of that. There might be something clearer somewhere but it isn't public.
  13. Strictly speaking it isn't even a punishment but it should be a fairly strong deterrent. That and the unlucky 2 actually contracting covid.
  14. Clearly the players have fucked up by deciding it was safe to open the pubs.
  15. He was a viable option up front at one point.
  16. Like the dodgy farmer on time team who had grass under his standing stones and buried a sword on top of a flattened fence?
  17. Lived through the foot and mouth genocide and now this.
  18. I doubt Rangers pre season affected our players' ability to pass the ball 5 yards or look like they gave a shit.
  19. It's a big pile of stones. It's an engineering challenge to move them but they had money and people and little else to do with them.
  20. There's a load of assertions that people make about the pyramids that are just wrong but it's a massive arseache to check. I think it was von Danniken who had the theory that the three pyramids at Giza exactly matched the layout of the stars of orions belt and that a shaft pointed straight at sirius. Therefore Aliens. Except they don't. The relative distances don't match and the angle of the crooked line is wrong. The shaft does point somewhere near sirius but didn't when it was built. There are three things almost in a line though, fair play for getting that bit right. Even if it was all true it wouldn't have been even evidence of alien involvement never mind proof. Still he's sold a lot of books and is gainfully employed by the telly and conferences etc. and it's all relatively harmless and a bit of a laugh.
  21. It’s not “right in the middle of the Earth’s land mass” though. Unless that means something different to what you already described it as. More spurious shape related fun here: https://www.ancient-origins.net/ancient-places-africa-opinion-guest-authors/mathematical-encoding-great-pyramid-002323 That site’s great. It’s got the Nephilim and all sort.
