The last time Dumbarton didn't use a substitute was in February 2012. Forfar did use three so it's probably not the answer you're looking for.

I think that is my best ever performance to finish 20th and I hope to build on that this year and maybe gain a European spot. Congrats to @Aim Here on his victory and thanks to @Miguel Sanchez for another successful year of running the P&B dead pool.

Someone posted on that Facebook page that a certain local newspaper in the area had an agenda against DFC a few years ago.
Probably due to a dodgy journo.

Durnan's had a setback and won't feature tomorrow. Orsi hasn't recovered from last week's knock and MacLean is ill. https://dumbartonfootballclub.com/match-preview-stranraer-vs-dumbarton/

I've made five changes to my line up. I lost four as points scorers and decided to drop another so sincere condolences to Bobby Brown's family as he's probably going to die in 2024.

Ok for East Fife we need a left back and a central midfielder in the mould of Alex Ferguson.
More importantly we need a manager who has a game-plan, can motivate and organise the team. Current manager is not upto the task.
What about a manager in the mould of Alex Ferguson?

Could Mrs Flood be the master or be assisting him/her in some way? Or maybe even Ruby's birth mum in a timey-wimey way as she'd likely be too old to have given birth 19 years ago?

Thoroughly enjoyed that. And Mrs Flood breaking the fourth wall was very intriguing. The only reason I saw that bit was because I was waiting to see if their was a trailer. I'd have switched it off had been a normal series episode.

We've scored at least four goals in consecutive games for the first time since January 2014 (4-2 vs Cowdenbeath and 5-1 vs Alloa.) That wee fact is my Christmas gift to you all. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Things really must be dire at Clyde to celebrate a point against Stevie Farrell that keeps you rooted to the bottom of the league on single figures, like that.
Ach, they scored two injury time goals to gain an unlikely point in what has been a dreadful season for them so far. I'd probably have been just as delighted as them if we were in their position.

I hope the groundsman gets some white paint for Christmas so he can give the lines a once over. I've been finding it difficult to see the penalty box markings.

Farrell's aim at the start of the season was to win promotion. I wonder what he'll do if we stay down.

I know it's a time for giving but fucking hell Dumbarton.

But crucially for the Rangers game your regular fan needs to find somewhere else to have a drink before the game. Previously for Rangers games we gave up a section of the home end bar for hospitality and that seemed to work fine, letting your regular joes get their ale and your fair weather fans get their prawns.
I would agree that the previous arrangement seemed to work. And it's actually more crucial now with the nearest pub being closed.

Including your fellow Sons fans who might want to go to hospitality ?
My comment was slightly tongue in cheek although I don't have a problem with the price being higher than usual for the reasons Jan explained above. And of course, our fellow Dumbarton fans have a choice of another 18 home games to go to hospitality this season where the prices are lower.

Any thoughts on £120+VAT for basically the current hospitality offering ?
I'm disappointed it's so low. I'd have charged them at least a grand a skull!

The late kick off took me being there out of my hands (which I'm pleased about) but I'll definitely buy a ticket to stop it going to an opposing fan. Maybe even two but that seems a bit daft.

Another vote for McTominay but all six of them were outstanding imo. I wish they could all get the award.

Sounds like a quiet dull affair.

Ryan Wallace being potentially out for this one as well isn't ideal. If he doesn't play would we go with Ruth and Byrne or change tactics?
Byrne played for 6 (six) minutes last week so we probably won't see him until the beginning of February at the earliest.

A middle aged woman came into work last Friday wearing a Christmas jumper with an pic of her dog wearing a Santa hat on it. She also wore it for the first three days of this week too as people were failing to acknowledge her attention seeking. It was fun.
