  1. Now that should have been a red. Horrendous challenge on Polworth.
  2. It's like WWE the way bodies are flying about with minimal contact.
  3. Gallagher has to do better there. It's getting a bit tasty and their forwards seem to have realised they can run at our defence.
  4. They didn't show a replay of our best chance with the shot across goal. I thought it was going to sneak in - what happened? Did the keeper get a touch or did it take a strange bounce?
  5. Really difficult ball to defend. Stupid foul given away by Long. Pretty much deliberate.
  6. I looked up Be'er Sheva and Lacu's grounds as potential opponents before the Coleraine game. Lacu's ground on Streetview looked like a really poor junior ground but the Turner Stadium looks really smart and showed the massive difference in resources between them. However, according to Wiki (I know, not always completely reliable) it was designated as a dangerous structure in August and they are having to remove the roof due to the faults. So it's a bit more than your average repairs. Edit: I tried to include a streetview link to Lacu's ground but couldn't get it to work and for some reason I can't delete the error message below.
  7. Oh well, I'm heading off for the holiday weekend and thought about leaving on Thursday after work if I couldn't watch the game. Looks like I'll need to wait and decide tomorrow.
  8. I assume we've offered this before and he hasn't signed it. This is basically making a public announcement to appease the fans who will moan that we didn't try to get him to stay.
  9. Not sure why you're bringing regular top six St. Johnstone into this- I'm sure they'll improve.
  10. Yeah, for all we soared up to 11th I'm expecting to lose by at least two tomorrow and be back to bottom.
  11. It unquestionably was a big story. I can't be bothered looking back - was there a bigger story that year?
  12. I caught the BBC NI news on Sky last night which showed the goals and penalty awards. Might be available on catch-up. I thought they both looked very soft.
  13. I know we were shite but I saw the goals again on BBC NI news (I'd left the tv on that channel when I managed to get it on the BBC app on smart tv) and they just seemed to throw themselves to the deck for both penalties. When's the game in Jerusalem?
  14. Was that after an embarrassing home draw against Alloa? Vague memory of it.
  15. If only they'd taken one of their penalties in the second half like that. Some saves by Trevor though. The commentator said the tie was worth 280k euros so, yeah, worth celebrating for that never mind getting to the next round of Europe.
  16. Bizarrely, there seems to have been bother before this closed doors game.
  17. Hope so or I'm stuck with the PC. I've checked my Sky listings and it's not showing for BBC NI 1 or 2.
  18. Has it been cut in two with one half remaining in NI when we beat Glentoran and the other half heading up to Perth?
  19. The bus trip in itself was a bit of experience. I was on one of the buses that left Fir Park at 11pm - quite a few folk were literally carried on to their bus and our bus had to get mopped out at Dover. We stayed in a hotel in the outskirts of Dortmund (might have been an Ibis) and I remember another bus arriving with numerous crates of Buckfast in the boot. Fortunately the advent of budget airlines wasn't far away.
  20. Probably our worst performance of the season. Other than the Celtic game, it was a mirror image of all our games so far with us having less possession, less attempts but managing to nick the win. We've got to the point though where I'm quite happy to take the points and move on.
  21. I take it everyone's stream had cut out with us one up from Campbell's goal?
