  1. Campbell and McGuire have been back training with the squad. Our whole squad could end up having to isolate over this. Aberdeen are probably in a similar boat and no doubt a good few others. This could be huge.
  2. Understandably, you're hoping for something that pretty much every Motherwell supporter doesn't want to see. Edit: I'd forgotten about McGuire being away so Lamie could make an appearance after all.
  3. O'Hara is likely to be playing at centre-half so that's unlikely.
  4. The BBC have just announced that 11 of the under-21's have to self-isolate so there's a pretty good chance he'll be one of them.
  5. Why would anyone complain about Celtic's arrangements on a St. Johnstone v Motherwell thread? I'm sure there were complaints on our thread when we played them at the beginning of the season. St. Johnstone have taken a different pricing approach to Motherwell which is their prerogative. I'm undecided at the moment whether I'll watch it, very similar to my thoughts to attending this fixture (pre-virus) - I'll go to some and not others depending on what else I've got going on.
  6. Fair enough, for some reason I had it had it in my head they charged £17.50. Maybe that price was mooted by them at them at the beginning of the season when they were explaining their pricing in relation to season ticket costs.
  7. There are aspects of the regulation regarding travel between areas which don't make a lot of sense but I appreciate they have to draw the line somewhere. I live in Glasgow (tier 1) and considered going out on my bike for a wee bit of exercise this morning. From the corner of Glasgow I live in, I would normally head out on the canal but that would very quickly take me into East or West Dunbartonshire (both also Tier 1) which i shouldn't be doing. I suppose to put it into perspective I heard Jason Leitch on the news last night saying there's no point going into lockdown if people look for ways round the rules and we just end up with the virus being spread around wherever they go instead of the places they instead of the places that have been closed.
  8. I appreciate you thinking you would not have put anyone at risk on your trip and I can see where you're coming from but there is a tiny risk of something happening whether it's a traffic incident or you going over on your ankle on your walk and needing assistance. The more people that head out on these sort of trips, the greater the chance there is of something happening that puts you in contact with others Fair enough if you were unaware of the situation but it's not new (although it was a guideline before but has only just become law I believe). The surprising thing is you were stopped as I had heard the police weren't going out of their way to stop people and would only take action if they were talking to them for some other reason and found them to be out of their area unnecessarily.
  9. I think it's always been part of the Tier 3 rules that you shouldn't be travelling to other council areas for non-essential reasons, it's only now that it's been made law though.
  10. I thought we'd do quite well from set-pieces this season but we've been surprisingly ineffective. This game is being advertised as being £17.50 which I think is the same as the recent Livingston game which had a lot of people saying they were prepared to pay that much - not seeing that this time round for whatever reason.
  11. Well some people seem to have forgotten Hartley playing in that St. Mirren game at the beginning of the year already.
  12. If he went to West Brom he could join Cedric in not even making the bench. Nice little earner though. That article says we wouldn't be keen to lose him for nothing in the summer. I really don't think we brought him in with a view to being able to sell him, just for him to do us a job in defence.
  13. The thing is, 5th place might well qualify for Europe. Having missed out on a trip this year I'd love to get the chance next year. Even if are plodding along mid-table we need to do what we can to push for 5th.
  14. I think my selection might be the worst possible and I don't think I'd last long! Middle lane of the M62 somewhere in Greater Manchester [emoji848] M62, Worsley, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 8JW, UK
  15. I don't recall seeing this before but may have missed it. The SFA has been emailing this out to supporter's club members:
  16. Me and my pal are 2 of those 1393 (just points from going to home games) so confident of tickets but there are 4 of us going to London. Not sure what chance the others have of getting a ticket from somewhere - probably SFA.
  17. Absolutely. I don't think anyone will grudge him his pay-day. He's completely surpassed our expectations, seems eager to acknowledge our part in his progress and we've got a great player for 2 years. This is on the premise he heads south. The well-wishes will reduce if he goes to the likes of Aberdeen or Hearts for better wages and drop off a cliff if he goes to Celtic.
  18. Thanks for that. I'm on 5 points so looks likely I'll be able to get tickets.
  19. I downloaded the Off The Ball podcast for the show that was on after the Serbia game and, assuming it was because of the extra time and penalties pushing it down the schedule, it includes the radio coverage of the end of extra time and penalties. I haven't yet listened to the OTB section but even knowing how it goes, the penalties still got me slightly nervous and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Worth downloading just for that part alone.
  20. I thought I read we'd get a 25,000 allocation and there are 24,000 supporters club members, not all of whom would go. Don't know how it's likely to work out. Regretting not buying Hampden tickets in pre-sale but it didn't look likely and it would have been a lot of money to go and watch the likes of Czech Republic against Serbia.
  21. I remember Simon Mayo was the stadium announcer and him saying something very complimentary about the Scotland support and having a wee dig at the home support. Something along the lines of knowing which end he'd prefer to be in.
  22. I was at still at primary school and remember watching that World Cup on my own in the living room as my dad was away working in Nigeria for 6 weeks. He managed to get to watch it on the village TV with lots of locals also supporting Scotland with him. Unfortunately the picture cut out with us leading from Narey's goal and he didn't find out the score until about three days later!
  23. Thanks. I had it in my head for some reason that he had signed an extension. Wishful thinking unfortunately.
  24. Hopefully they draw on Sunday, wouldn't like to go in to another play-off style game against Israel to win the group.
  25. He fully deserves his chance to make some serious money from the game to use as a pension. A 3 year deal with an English Championship club could set him up for life and he must be casting envious glances at McKenna. I'm just wondering if we'll get anything for him - is he out of contract at the end of this season?
