What have you read specifically to make you think he doesn't feel "the least bit scottish"? I find that hard to believe, considering his dad's Scottish and played for Scotland. He more likely thought he could play at and go further in major tournaments with England. Hes quite far out of England reckoning at the moment. We should be asking him again.

I really think he will do well if he gets a decent run. Maybe with a few games settling in.

No your right, form is completely irrelevant. And tbh Danny Mcgrain had been doing a fine job of filling in at left back. So McGrains straight in the team and Robertson and Tierney are fighting over one place. Ill decide that place on which of them played better 3 years ago.

Its a disaster if he doesn't actually play, which so far he hasn't even been in any squad. A loan move to Southampton would likely have him playing regularly. Im not sure if having this opinion makes me a typical scotland fan or not. Just a sensible scotland fan.

It really is beginning to look like a disaster here. I dont just feel like it would be good to have him in the team. I feel like we really need him in the team. He would improve us so much. Hopefully he can get a loan b4 its to late, and he's stuck in the reserves all season. On the positive side other potential players Hornby and Gauld look to be making great moves.
