  1. It should be “doing a Leicester”. As you’ve written it, it comes across like you don’t believe Leicester exists. 3/10, must do better
  2. Your refusal to use the correct Irish-origin spelling of Sir Steve’s name is possibly the biggest minter on this site. Much like your “best from the west” patter, we all know why...
  3. Fear Kiltie may be another Paul Di Giacomo. Paul was superb until he got a bad injury then was never the same again. Kiltie has had several bad ones, and hasn’t done much with the limited chances he’s had under Sir Steve. Would love to see him recapture his form with you guys, as he can be an excellent player
  4. Did she spell that wrong, realise, and was then struck by inspiration? Or did she deliberately spell it wrong to provide a rhyme for patter? Scholars will study Lorna's poetry one day, an underrated genius IMO
  5. Presumably former Presidents = voices in his head. The Bush family don't like him, so even if we generously assume it could have been when H.W was alive it's unlikely. Fair to assume it wasn't Obama or Clinton either so unless Jimmy Carter's going on about Mexican rapists these days...
  6. I'd to work a weekend the other week, but thinking "ah it'll be grand, it'll just be me at my desk and I can feck about all day". Was then informed my boss was coming in for the morning "to get a bit of work done". That would have been fine, but he ended up phoning to say he'd be "in late but staying late", meaning there was no chance of me sloping off early.
  7. https://www.football-italia.net/132842/maradona-rushed-hospital Could be an early one on the board for me! Er... I mean... get well soon Diego
  8. I agree with the points about Beto's voting record, but struggling to decide if having another centrist Democrat is worth the money I'd make...
  9. As far as I’m concerned that’s the end of the story. he’ll almost certainly retire at the end of the season, and clearly wants to be a full-time pundit when he does. He’s a Rangers fan, we all know that, but he’s scored over 100 goals for Killie and has almost always done it for us on the pitch. As far as I’m concerned he’s given us enough over the past 15 years to overlook his daft columns.
  10. As my fellow Killie fans have said, it’s Paul Dalglish. No question.
  11. That’s us over halfway through the season, and Killie are a point off the top of the league. We’re also top of the calendar year table, albeit having played a game more than Celtic. What a fucking time to be alive.
  12. Fairly certain Netflix is going to be keeping track of how many people make each choice, and there's going to be an episode about what terrible people we all are for choosing the most grim option more often than not...
  13. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/12/20/oh-no-the-day-trump-learned-to-tweet-1070789
  14. OR, The National got invited to some press event with Joe Cole, had to find a Scottish angle, and asked him about Steve Clarke? Edit: Yup, Star Sixes at the Hydro. English footballer promoting event in Scotland, Scottish newspaper finds Scottish football angle.
  15. It was a sponsored tweet with Adidas, he and a number of other players are at some Adidas event in Paris. That might prove the "brand over footballer" point, but that post had probably been scheduled for days and had nothing to do with Mourinho. Indeed, any PR would have told him straight off that bat not to post anything like that as it would look terrible.
  16. I don't like to be fair to awful warmongers, but he dodged that first one like an absolute champ
  17. A comfortable but unspectacular 2-0 win for Killie to regain our rightful place at the top of the table* *until Celtic thrash Hibs on Sunday
  18. That's lucky for him, because where there's smock there's fiyer!
