  1. Common sense would say if clubs have until 5pm to submit evidence and Ayr have to submit a team sheet 75 minutes before the match tonight that our case would be heard first (Arbroath and Ross County also have appeals in).
  2. Wouldn't think so. Ref is required to give a statement by 1pm and we have up to 5pm to submit our evidence (i.e our footage) then the panel make a decision apparently after 5pm. Last part seems daft if we've to pick a lineup for tonight so maybe doesn't apply for same day matches but it is the SFA we're talking about.
  3. SFA site confirms the Fast Track Tribunal Hearing as Tuesday 7th March for O'Connor so club should find out the decision by this afternoon.
  4. Didn't double check but based on Transfermarkt the only time we've been out the top 4 this season is the opening day, while everyone around us has been at some point since then. Form has been dodgy recently but you'd think with the way some people talk that we're being chased down for a play-off place by Europe's elite and not a bunch of bang average Scottish Championship sides that, outwith Inverness, have lost to us at some point and aren't in sparkling form themselves.
  5. For me it feels at the minute Dipo is trying too hard at times and overthinking things when he gets the ball. Does seem like the type to put a lot of pressure on himself. Shown enough quality this season to believe it's only a blip. A game where he sticks to the 18 yard box and we get crosses will get him back on the goal trail.
  6. Even if he loses this those last 10-15 mins have been a ridiculous level of nerve.
  7. Given his name isn't actually Robert he should have called himself the Somerset Dick. That works better as it wouldn't matter if you like him or not, everyone would be in agreement with the name.
  8. Good win in the end. In fairness a straight sets win would have been too much to ask. Boring and no torture is not the Murray way.
  9. Currently 66 in the live rankings. He'll be defending points from 2022 in his next 3 tournaments but all are 1st rounds. Seems to be planning to play more on the clay this year, as he only played Madrid last year, which might get him more points.
  10. Alexandre Muller up next which if he can recover would be a good chance to make the semi-finals.
  11. Yeah Championship finished 29th April and first play-off was 3rd May. https://spfl.co.uk/news/spfl-confirms-play-off-schedule
  12. Murray takes the first set on a tie break against Zverev. Got broken twice in the set but broke back straightaway both times.
  13. Full play-off schedule wasn't announced last season until the 14th April. I imagine given the Scottish Cup semi-finals aren't until 29-30 April that it might complicate it further given some of the teams that are left.
  14. Watched the 3rd set, some effort to save the match points and recover from 3-0 down in the tie break. Will fancy his chances against Zverev in what will be only his 5th singles match since the French Open.
  15. Mullin's confidence would have been sky high if he managed to score that free kick from the bench. Also McAlear was standing beside it but the angle probably suited a left footer and we don't have many.
  16. See it turned out to be three live shows of The Always Sunny Podcast although it's two in London and the other Dublin.
  17. Personal favourite is trying to spot the 2001-02 Aurigin top at any big games, not that I could fit into mine.
  18. No denying the good outweighs the bad but the best spells for McCall under Ayr were when he had either John Henry or Sandy Stewart alongside him. Could be wrong but never got the impression Scally was the brains behind the operation. He seemed well liked but his job appeared to be more a link between the management and players, rather than some tactical genius.
  19. The 4-5-1 formation hasn't worked this year and feels similar to the League Cup campaign where Bullen seemed to be stubbornly trying to force a back 5, which also didn't work. 4-4-2 is the way forward as it gets the best out of our two best players in Dipo and Mullin which has to be the goal. We're at our best when attacking so if it leaves us a bit more open it's a risk worth taking. Today it was clear in the first 10 minutes that it was going to be a long day and while I wouldn't suggest making a sub in the 1st half, it was a worry as to why Bullen sent the same team out for the 2nd half. Once again when we concede first we resort to a frantic and desperate style of play where we loss any control and mistakes multiply. I suppose the main thing today was to be in the next round and credit to the character of the team, particularly the subs. Hopefully it's a lesson learnt today as to the best way to approach the rest of the season.
  20. McAlear's free to play today. The rule is they must have signed before the original match date rather than the draw date. QP like ourselves had their 4th round match postponed and signed Henderson after that date and played him in the rearranged tie which was the issue.
  21. Does feel in Q3 that our set up has been based on how well it worked in the last game (i.e last Friday). Having played teams twice we might have been better looking at the previous games against the same opponent. No way we set up 4-5-1 tonight if they do. Also McAlear's been thrown in a week early, as he lacked the understanding with the other 2, especially as Smith hadn't really done anything wrong to get dropped. Still expect plenty of twists to come so all is not lost.
  22. I don't believe Reda Johnson is Bangala's agent and just that he asked Bullen if he was looking for any players and mentioned his name. Only connection from what I can see is Johnson being at Eastleigh the same time as an ex Le Havre youth player that Bangala would know. Not that it really was much different to other signings we make, apart from not watching him live. Mathie and Glendinning were still involved and I imagine they'll get plenty of recommendations themselves from football people that never go anywhere.
  23. Probably, although I'd have Hewitt and Smith on the bench before Bangala. Possibly a loan move for Smith to L1 might benefit him more now McAlear's signed as long as Murdoch's injury isn't bad.
