  1. FUCKING YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! f**k you Hearts you vile, hatchet job, fun sponge, minks. And f**k you Naismith you rat faced, *** weasel.
  2. Superb performance, hopefully keep that up on Sunday. Would absolutely love to batter those Jambo minks.
  3. Two away goals for the Hibbies...that's a tasty result. Cut them apart with gorgeous silky play. They'll be greeting the morra during their ASDA shift.
  4. Bit unfair to say they aren't as good as RoPS, I thought they were a good bit better. Typical stodgy away performance, and we should see them off next week. Ojo was superb in the second half. Hedges also. Gallacher clearly has pace and a bit of technique, but his decision making makes him look like a schoolboy. Hopefully he grows stronger as he plays more professional games.
  5. Thought Ojo was looking superb until that minor blip as well. Sort of penalty Celtic/Sevco get, but no one else does. Really good start, pressing them high in total dominance, and then the enforced change and we start sitting in and it becomes anyone's game. Need to get back to what we're good at, ragdolling pish like Hibs.
  6. Hasn't worked out for May, plenty of effort but happy he's moving on. My main issue is that we've replaced him with Main. When he came on on Thursday night (albeit for a very short spell) he barely looked like he'd played football before. That said, he's no doubt here to fill a very specific role within the squad, and will doubtless be doing it far cheaper than May.
  7. There's a number of different ways we are maximising our turnover compared to other similarly sized clubs. Most have been mentioned. One main difference has been that we've tapped in to the North American market. However we've managed to do this without selling our club.
  8. All this foaming at the gash over a Scunthorpe player... If he signs for us then he'll get full backing (until the mongs decide he isn't Jim Bett). If he signs for Hibs then crack on. Unlikely he'll be better than Bryson or Ferguson anyway. Hardly worth dripping at the clunge about it either way. Have to disagree with almost everything in this post: The Georgian team that played against Fola Esch won 2-1 away from home. Looks like it may be a trip to Georgia should we get through.
  9. I'm hoping given the whole Dave Cormack tie with Atlanta United, that the point of this loan is with a view to a permanent move. That said, we're yet to see how he will fair with thugs like St. Johnstone and Hamilton kicking lumps out of him every weekend.
  10. Thought that was an exciting performance tbh. We looked pacey and dynamic going forward, and fairly solid at the back (minus the goatfuck at the end). Considering we started and played most of the match without 4 probable first picks in Leigh, Bryson, McLennan, and Wilson. Hedges reminds me a lot of McGinn. Great technique and movement, quick enough without being lightning. Gallagher reminds me a lot of Hayes. Bags of energy, pace, and loves taking players on. Wright looked like he really may be capable of holding down the no.10 role. He's looked like that before though, and then goes missing for 10 games. Some of our build up play was truly superb, albeit the opposition were probably about the level of Dundee Utd.
  11. My Mrs is due next Saturday, so I can't give away any organs. I have lots of plastic baby related shite I would be willing to give away along with Stevie May?
  12. David Dangana joins Stranraer on loan. https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/07/05/david-dangana-joins-stranraer-on-loan/ Keen for updates on his progress.
  13. £600k would imply that May is on around £5.5k p/w. I highly doubt that given (the last official figures I know of) suggest a 1st team average of £2.6k p/w As I've tried to explain, if May moves on for lesser pay, we will likely be liable for the difference in salary. A transfer fee will mitigate that difference. So it's clearly in our best interests to try to get one, however nominal. That said, our budget is already in place assuming May stays for the next two years, so we don't lose either way, we only gain.
  14. It's not about incentivising. As I said, we're liabile for the rest of his current contract, which at a guess is between £300k and £400k ish. Assuming the scenario I suggested earlier, we'd have to pay £4k. If we didn't receive a fee at all, it would be £104k. That equates to an extra £1000 p/w for a contract for someone else. So of course we're going to try to get a fee. Logically speaking, we have nothing more to lose by keeping May, and only a little to gain by selling him. We have even less to gain by releasing him for free. NO. Well, ok. As long as you have a word with Tommy and explain the situation.
  15. I'm not pretending to be ITK, just giving a logical response to your proposition that it wouldn't make sense for us to pay to get rid of May. The figures are entirely made up. Because he's under contract until 2021. The money for his contract is already set aside, and as such doesn't present an increased liability. We have no reason to release him unless another club makes an offer, given that we are in great shape financially. Realistically, May will likely be on between £2k and £4k p/w, probably middle to the top end of that scale. Meaning there's between £312k, and £416k we are liable for. If we can move him on, his new wage plus any minimal fee we receive will cut into what we're liable for.
  16. If it's less than the value of his remaining contract, then it would be a good deal. Let's assume he's on say £3k p/w and we get St. Johnstone to pay a nominal £100k, and he drops to £2k p/w at St. Johnstone. The difference in salary would amount to £104k, meaning we would only be out of pocket by £4k
  17. That's the equivalent of winking on the river, and going all in.
  18. I must admit, even after 24 hours I am still absolutely fuming that Elgin had the audacity to beat our youth team 8-1 in a friendly. It's called a friendly for a REASON. That said, my rage is tempered by the fact that Ewen Cameron has rightly pointed out that we should accept our position in life. That is at least some consolation. Never again will I be so foolish as to get my hopes up.
  19. That wouldn't be fair at all. We'd have to give you some cash as well.
  20. Me too. If the *** c**t broke a leg at Pittodrie I think I'd spunk myself.
