  1. Jeez what a slide from the bright lights of Livi last season
  2. What happened to that Dutch guy that played in defence for Morton against us first game of the season. He was so bad he was funny
  3. Neilson going for the peaky blinders look and I honestly thought it was Paul Slane beside him for a second
  4. Two cracking tunes there, Faithless and Fatboy Slim
  5. When would we need to apply to reschedule the game by? Surely soon if the game is in 2 weeks
  6. Sounds like the Post is rehashing his words as he said the same about Shankland coming back
  7. Honestly can’t predict what I think the score will be for this one I think if McCall gets pelters and Partick score first he’ll turn to the Somerset Road end and give a GIRFUY gesture
  8. We’re on a bad run of form so I’ll say 1-1
  9. Moffat has been really disappointing the last 2 or 3 games, as has McCowan. I wouldn’t be adverse to either or both of them dropping to the bench and bringing Doolan/Moore in on Tuesday
  10. Was this the Ayr thing? They spent about 2 hours filming that. Wanky as f**k
  11. Also don’t know if anyone listened to “Off the ball” or whatever it’s called but Kris Doolan was on it tonight and he came across really well. Basically said he didn’t chose to come to us for the money, but more as it was a family type club. Tam Cowan also asked him about a possible return to Partick and he said he hopes to go back someday He said he’s been fit from day 1 of joining us and is desperate to play, but understands why management didn’t want to change a winning team, but admitted with 3 defeats in a row that maybe the team should be tweaked to include him.
  12. My Kilmarnock supporting mate says Canning was sitting in the same row as him today. Wonder who he’s got an eye on taking over now, them or St Mirren
  13. Another disappointing display. That’s two home games in a row I’ve thought Moffat, Forrest and McCowan were woeful. As much as I like Moff I think his time as a starter should be called into question. Two home games now he’s missed a one on on with the keeper. I also don’t think Kelly has been the same player he was at the start of the season. as for Dundee, McGowan was the wee ned that he’s been for years now on and off the park. Disappointed in the way McDaid acted as well
  14. Me too. Statistics and analysis count for bugger all at times. Look at possession stats, you can have 80% possession but it counts for nothing if you don’t win a game! Personally I’d prefer to leave stats and “Moneyball” management to baseball
  15. Also if Dundee are only going to bring 150, will the Railway end be open for us?
  16. Yeah it is a pain for away fans and I can see why the away support can be half of what a Saturday would have been. Personally the Fri night games suit me better due to work circumstances but I know I’m in the minority
  17. Anyone else think that BBC Scotland may be jacking in the Fri night games? There’s been no announcement of the next batch they’re going to show and the last Fri game for them is next week!
  18. Reading this weeks Ayr Advertiser wondering where the hell they get their information. It said Eddie Annand, James Grady and Brian McClair were in the frame. All very left field, especially McClair!
  19. The last few years, reallh? Not before 4 weeks ago did I see Mark Kerr as being part of a coaching set up right now, let alone being a manager.
  20. Yes but we didn’t take our chances and that’s what matters. That’s like me saying “but if I’d put the winning lottery numbers on, I’d be a millionaire “ . It’s actually going and doing something that matters. The subs in the two games were perplexing as well. I hope I’m wrong but I’m sure by Christmas we won’t be sitting in 2nd place
  21. I reckon it will be 1-0. Dundee are rank, and we seem to be on the slide after two defeats. It certainly won’t be raining goals that’s for sure
