  1. Possibly, or maybe just through supporting his team. I see Kevin Smith hasn't lost his goal touch.
  2. Shocking. Hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to identify those responsible.
  3. Just a tad worrying when you've just been turned over in a cup tie by a manager whose last involvement in a cup competition was seeing his team get emptied by an Aberdeen junior club.
  4. If we're awarded what looked like a stonewall penalty five minutes before half-time, or if their goal is disallowed for what looked like a foul in the build up, or if they go down to ten men earlier for the shocking tackle on Ethan Ross in front of the railway stand, then we're looking at a completely different outcome today. However, if Murray is, rightly, to be given plaudits for Wednesday night, he has to take responsibility for today, upsetting the shape and formation of the team to accommodate Zanatta, who has shown little to justify inclusion, at the expense of Mitchell, who had done nothing to deserve to be dropped.
  5. Wilson has been a grade one ref for a few years and we've had him several times before. He's generally been every bit as abject as he was today. An angry wee man with a whistle is never a good thing.
  6. Mine arrived yesterday. It was in a multi coloured envelope with purple balloons on it. I was sure at first that it was an invite to a kid's birthday party
  7. Zanatta is suspended tonight after his red card at Parkhead last season in the League Cup.
  8. That brought me out in a cold sweat. We had a manager with the initials I M before who had a fetish for signing Scandinavians and ended up with Vetle Andersen and Odd Areld.div widget
  9. Just eat your way into your Large size. It's much more fun than trying to slim your way into a smaller one. All you need is some sort of routine: Pre match - pub, Half time - pie stall, Post match - Valente's. You should be looking at weeks rather than months.
  10. He was always a favourite of mine from that era. Especially when he scored the late winner with a diving header under the lights against Hearts.
  11. Forget gold and crypto currency - old Rovers shirts are the standard investment for guaranteed economic prosperity.
  12. If it was the shirt worn by Dave Narey when he scored that raker at Kilbowie, or better still, if it was the shirt worn by Ally Graham when he headed the late winner at East End that season, £180 would be seriously worth it.
  13. I'm in a hoor of a cynical mood today (no idea why), but remember the last time a team managed by Brian Rice were 4 down at Stark's Park?
  14. 100% correct, although when you see some of the big foreign clubs' sponsors, Scottish teams have tended to get off lightly. The only sponsor I can think of that actually enhanced a strip was when Newcastle had the blue star with the Tyne Bridge silhouette in the 80s.
  15. It looks so weird seeing QP tops without Irn Bru on the front.
  16. Williamson was impressive in the away game at Firhill and very impressive in the away game at Hamilton. Other than that, I thought his signing was a hindrance to the progress of Aaron Arnott.
  17. I suppose it's not exactly the same as handing over 50% of Nacho Novo's fee to agent Willie McKay.
  18. Ach well, west of Cardenden, therefore the dark side of Fife.
  19. Obviously he was at the wrong end of the age scale and Covid curtailed the season, but Steven MacLean was a decent loan signing. Weighed in with a couple of crucial goals and was good at talking Bowie through games. I thought Hardie was good in his second spell with us as well, the difference being he had Barr and Johnston supplying the service rather than Connolly and Craigen.
  20. I'm not quite sure how pumping the ball into a crowded area equates to trying to walk the ball into the net.
  21. Pretty much sums it up, both in terms of the actual match itself and the knicker wetting from to folk who didn't even watch the game.
  22. Absolutely. McLeish report part two. What a pile of shite that was. Years to compile and came to the conclusion that Scotland should have a ten team top flight, despite every other league in Europe of any significance, having a 16 or 18 team top division.
