  1. Small sample size, but Greig Young's crossing looked incredible.
  2. Doing big exaggerated waves goodbye at full time, after waiting for the rest of the team to go down the tunnel. I'm not a body language expert, but I'd suggest that looked more like the actions of a man retiring, not just leaving his club.
  3. Well, that's certainly the last we'll be seeing of Jamie MacDonald. A fine goalkeeper, the best since McGurn. He'll be very tough to replace.
  4. Bit of good fortune in the build up. Looked like Tiffoney had played a pass to nobody but in attempting to cut it out anyway the Rovers defender inadvertently played the Thistle man in on goal. Thistle have somehow managed to turn a training exercise into a really compelling game.
  5. That was a lovely wee goal. Needed a touch on the way through but the build up was very tidy indeed. Great pick out by Ngwenya. I'm increasingly impressed by Scott McGill's all round play. Sign him up!
  6. Rovers have rejigged the back four to get Masson away from Tiffoney. Dick - Masson - Lang - Ngwenya (L to R)
  7. For the vast majority of that half, it looked every bit a good side at full strength with everything on the line versus a limited side on the bones of their arse with f**k all to play for. Pleasantly surprised to see us grab that goal, and have a wee thing to cheer at the end of a fairly drab season. I really can't see any scenario where we hold out, though. Even if we're still level with fifteen minutes to go, we've only got a full back on the bench to refresh things. The interesting thing will be whether Thistle break the deadlock early or late.
  8. I think I'm right in saying that's the first time we actually made it into Thistle's box. Lovely touch from McGill to force the handball. Thistle will still win this comfortably in the end, but it's always a delight to have a Vaughan goal to celebrate.
  9. Imagine coming to this game and booing when the Rovers go a goal down What did you expect!?
  10. Thistle have started pretty well at Stark's. Turner forced a great save out of MacDonald after about 10 seconds and they've not really let up since. Rovers' makeshift defence looking pretty, well, makeshift so far.
  11. They've swapped for tonight. My apologies for doubting your tactical nous, Tex.
  12. I thought it was mad when Murray suggested Gullan might play. After the season he's had, take tonight off and focus on being fit after the summer. Hopefully that's all it is.
  13. Minor note, but McGill and Ross were on the opposite sides at Somerset. Feel like it'll be a long night for that defence, they'll really need to be on it. Maybe Thistle will feel compelled to come out and run at us, which will leave space for Akio to exploit. Maybe. Perhaps. Possibly.
  14. Matt Elder has Barrowman as Chief Executive, and Potter coming in as Director of Football.
  15. I think we've got more corner flags than fit subs, to be fair.
  16. We'll have Vaughan and Lang back from suspension, at the least. Sounds like Ross Millen might miss this one, so we'll jam a teenage centre half in at right back. Critically, Scott Brown will play.
  17. They're multiple and numerous? Good God. I hope there aren't several of them, or we're really screwed.
  18. I shudder to think what he could've possibly been doing the first time you saw him.
  19. It was on a Terrace Podcast patreon episode, I've not seen a written summary. Very much worth a listen, although there are some questionable choices, to say the least. Denholm had Joe Chalmers as one of his top full-backs...
