It was an archetypal "already on the beach" performance from Hamilton. Not actively terrible but nobody really bothered to go out and make anything happen. As a result, the Rovers really held them at arm's length for the most part, other than a flurry of corners in the first half.
Not exactly a controversial statement given he scored twice, but that was Ben Williamson's best performance in a Rovers jersey, playing almost as a second striker. Before he goes out on loan again next season, I think Rangers really need to decide what his best position is and then send him to a manager who wants to play him there. He's definitely got ability but he doesn't have much of an identity, he's been used to plug gaps all over the place (largely by necessity) and I couldn't tell you where he plays best.
It's a shame the game didn't mean a little more, we could've had three times as many Rovers fans there if we'd gone into it level on points with Thistle, but ultimately it's not to be. C'est la vie.
