Not if they all move in the one block. Which is what is being proposed by the WRSJFA.Point is if talbot, Cumnock, Beith, glenafton etc don't get a move on they could be starting a couple leagues further down than originally thought.Move in with current 4 leagues.
Integrate any new applicants to a suitable league within that system.
Allow all clubs to retain their membership of the SJFA if they wish.
Allow participation of the SJFA Scottish Junior Cup to those clubs.
Other clubs coming into the existing 4 leagues do not need to join the SJFA.
What's the problem?
Should also add that it means the current WRSJFA management will no longer exist and a new management/board will be set up by the new WOSL.

All that the West Juniors want is to enter at Tier 6, 7, 8, and 9. That's all. Ready made system, a few tweaks and it's ready to go.It is quite something that the top West Juniors who originally thought they would be going in a Tier 5 might now have to enter at Tier 7 or even 8.0 -
Correct, the other option already has 63 applicants and are willing to accept others. They’ve mostly all applied, dont worry.0 -
I'm against the SJFA.
Enjoy your day.
Fixed it for you.0 -
Why, apart from Clydebank obviously, would clubs not retain their membership?
No if it goes as per the proposal, clubs will be given the opportunity to retain SJFA membership, it will be optional.0 -
You've not read all of this from the start, have you?Eh ??
If he's advocating a CHOICE between joining the WoS or staying Junior, and some clubs choose to leave and some clubs choose to stay, how would that lead to 'full demolition of the SJFA' ?
Nobody's going to stay in a WRSJFA.
All clubs are moving together into the new WOSL and retaining SJFA membership.
His preference was for a split between the clubs with some going and some staying would have been disastrous for the SJFA as it would have been made up of smaller and weaker teams that would not survive and eventually lead to the SJFA folding.0 -
Irony
No, I meant "F*ck the SJFA", try and understand what I wrote and what I was responding to if you want to stick your nose in.0 -
to bad mouth and belittle.
Not that you or any of your cohorts would resort to that kind of thing.0 -
It's the only way that they'd win anything.Bankies should get it for being most forward thinking.3 -
Mars changed the name of their Marathon chocolate bar to Snickers. But they won't be juniors...
It was still called a Marathon bar for ages.-1 -
Your points are pointless.Aye ok GR, going to address any of the points I raised for the benefit of the debate?
Things have moved on.
A compromise has been reached.
The LL WOSL is going ahead which is exactly what you've been after.
Perhaps not with the destruction of the SJFA that you'd hoped for, but it's happening nonetheless.
It seems you're not as important and influential as you'd like to believe.
In fact, you're a sad, insecure and insignificant individual that hates not getting what you want. Put the dummy back in, sit back and enjoy the new Future of the Juniors.0 -
You keep believing that if it helps you get rid of your hatred.Nice, more unnecessary abuse! and yes he is.0 -
There's no divide though. You're bringing the divide along with you, and removing choice from clubs who want to remain Junior.
Do you think those WL clubs should be forced to join the EoS even if they clearly don't want to? Why would anyone do that?
All WRSJFA clubs have agreed to be part of the Pyramid.
You're the one trying to muddy the waters now that people have seen through your agenda of hatred towards TJ and the SJFA.
Get the feeder up and running with everyone on board and let's just wait and see how the cup situation unfolds. Those discussions can surely wait for another day.-1 -
It took longer than I expected but the Burnieman's meltdown is in full flow now.
Loving it.
His master plan of full demolition of the SJFA has been torpedoed.-3 -
What if the SOSL object to their league being weakened by the poaching of clubs?PO changes have to be agreed by the LL, SOS, EOS and SFA as per the SLFL rules. So in theory they can block it, but it's highly unlikely.
They could block it.0 -
Further proof that every one of you Junior haters hang on everything that comes from Burnie as being solid gospel truth. If you are Beenz mr.ronney , then that is a pathetic come back for a man in your position!!-9 -
Oh look - "My dad's bigger than your dad "From what i hear there is a counter lawsuit in the works which is ready to go should the wrsjfa even attempt to go down this line, advice taken at a much higher level than where some are getting theirs from...-6 -
I have no idea how it will all pan out, unlike you, I am not being fed information. The only thing I see is that a few months ago everyone was desperate for the WRSJFA to come onboard. Now we're being treated like a paedo ring at a school outing.Trying to be smart doesn't suit you. Tier 6 in Pyramid but the rest remain Junior, with discipline and fixtures run by WRJFA, yes? player fines?
Where do non-WRJFA clubs go who want access to the Pyramid in the West under your plan?-2 -
Aye, what Super League are you referring to?Any comment Beenze?
There's none in the WRSJFA.0 -
So why is it a problem now? They were told that the West could join en masse last season and they chose not to do that. They had essentially the same message this season and chose not to do that. Now the WoSL has asked for applications, suddenly the thing they were told they should do twice in the last two years but they said wouldn't/shouldn't happen... is their solution to the issue. Can't you see why people might be a little suspicious at the sudden change of heart?
Answer - Because we want to destroy the Juniors.
Why?
Answer - Because we just found out that we don't like them.
Why don't you like them?
Answer - Because we've been told not to like them.-5 -
Entirely negotiable, but it needs all parties to be willing to negotiate it.I'm sure the LL/EoS will be happy to "negotiate" with the West Region. Its simple really. Enter the South Region Challenge Cup instead of the Junior Cup, essentially just leave the SJFA. We've also got a bunch of potential applicants looking to apply so you're going to have amend your division structure in some way. Possibly even let existing Tier 6 clubs enter at whatever your Tier 6 league will be at the absolute minimum.
You alright with all that? No, what a shame. That's okay we've got our own WoSFL to get started with anyway.
The WJFA clearly want negotiations to come about, others don't.0 -
Just loving the meltdown.
I can't believe that the WRSJFA haven't looked into the full implications of their course of action.0 -
"Any club intending to resign from a Region must give 12 months notice to that Region and the Scottish Junior FA."The years notice rule relates to clubs changing Regions eg Montrose Roselea. There is nothing the SJFA can do to prevent clubs from resigning from membership.
Taken directly from the freely available SJFA Constitution0 -
The WRSJFA did act. They just didn't use P&B to publicize it and that's what upsets the haters on here. SR said he was apologetic and would consider his future. WRSJFA then told him of his options. Resign or be resigned. He resigned.Bit of an aside but this, to be fair, is quite common. Even if yer 99% certain someone saying something as stupid as that is grounds of termination it's better to politely request a resignation to cover yer bum incase of an unfair dismissal claim.1
Junior football, what is the future?

Clubs were asked if they wanted to stay together. They said yes.
But ask yourself this, if 57 clubs left to join a new WOSL, why would 6 clubs think it would be in their best interests to remain?
