Really nice guy and something that always stuck with me was he paid into games at Tranent when clearly he didn’t need to being on the committee. Was always pleasant when visiting Dunbar aswell.

Agree. Big steve McDonald will be up there with the top scorers in our league but he could have had plenty more. Credit to him cause he never stops and gets in the right positions.

Ally had a great game yesterday. There was a few that I thought he could have spilled or made a mistake with the conditions being so difficult but he was top drawer. Skip has been different class. Big Steve aswell. Took his goal well and centre half’s never get an easy game against him.

Tough run of games coming up with 5 away games in a row I think. Good start there and I’m sure the boys will be up for it against Dunbar. Heard today Linlithgow didn’t believe us the park was off last week and drive through to check it. Laughable like cause they are there for the taking.

Expected more today from Broxburn and didn’t fancy our chances with the injuries and suspensions we had ourselves. Could have been 6-2 up at half time. Broxburn the better team 2nd half and at 3-2 were looking the more likely but beating Tranent in a cup tie is never easy.

No never went down. Our drainage is really good though and it’s not often the rain gets the game called off. Normally the frost.

Can’t wait until Tranent get into the Scottish. It’s hard to compete financially when teams are getting runs in the cup.

That was some game. Credit to Calvin for changing it early doors. Crossgates folded like a cheap suit after going 2-0 up.

No easy games in this division and crossgates have strengthened but hopefully we will have enough

60 per cent from what I’m told. Think that’s the same for all 3 clubs. Tranent have already done a lot of work themselves and hopefully get them up soon as possible. Looking forward to the Scottish next year already

Yes that was a poor finish. Thought Steve had a good game for us though. Number 10 and 7 for us through 1 on 1 with the keeper aswell. One wide and one was a good save from your keeper.1 -

Thought the ref was a bit to card happy at times. Bit harsh for the sending off aswell. Tranent need to start winning games though. Had 6 great chances and scored 1. Need to be more ruthless

Got a squad of 18. Had grant nelson playing a few games until he went to America.
