Probably playing for them mate

That’s fitbaw. Better team got beat. Bo’ness had a 5-10min spell the whole game where u created a couple of chances. Other than that u were pinned back most of the game. Centre half’s launching the ball whatever way there facing.

Tranent were by far the better team. Honestly shocked how poor Bo’ness were. Bo’ness defended well to be fair to them although I think there 2 centre half’s are no the best.
Ref done well first half. Poor 2nd half.
Pies were bowfing
Ground is crumbling
Pitch is poor
Thank f**k I don’t support them1 -
Is the club putting food on for the Tranent committee this time? Heard there’s some lovely wild haggis through that neck of the woods

Been a great start Belter, last week was one of they games, no better way to put it right than away to Bo’ness. You know what to expect from them, if we match then physically we will be ok. I think the 3G surface will suit us more than it will them. Hearing more players injured long term which is a massive concern. Fingers crossed for a positive result.
Here’s hoping. Game could go anyway. Wonder if the new signing Kyle will be playing. He’s a big boost to the squad. Getting worried by the long term injuries aswell.0 -
Agreed.
Wonder if Tranent will bring a support big enough to fill a Fiesta...
Be at least 30 there. No breaking records but still better than nothing.0 -
Wonder if the committee will get any grub this time around? Lol
Great start to the season so far. Hope the boys do us proud and come back with a result0 -
Not at all. For Tranent to be serious this year they have to be getting results in games like this.

Genuinely not sure Belter. First competitive game on the new artificial surface. There are a few BU players more suited to a blood and guts battle in a muddy grass field.
Marc McKenzie our speedy striker has been missing the last few games . When he is missing we have been playing Chris "Dougie" Donnelly up front. Dougie is as strong as an ox, good in the air but has no pace. How the team sets up and plays will depend on the strikers available. A fully fit Gemmell also makes a huge difference.
We have been making a habit of two things :- conceding soft goals (boo)and battling to the end (hurrah).
Hopefully the BU's have a good start on the new pitch.
I’m sure it will be a good game. Every other one has been. A win for Tranent would really put a statement out there though but I would say Bo’ness are favourites.0 -
You fancy your mobs chances on Saturday Belter ?
Hoping for a reaction after last Saturday. The games between us have proved anything can happen. 4-0 either way wouldn’t shock me to much. Quietly confident though.
How do u think it will go?0 -
Fine for me mate lol u?

Sinky’s up there with the best in the league. Is there a team in our league that has 2 better keepers?

Agree but we should have enough to deal with that. Would like to see young Ciaran starting next week. Hopefully brad Barrett gets back up to speed and starts aswell.
How many man of the match performances have we seen from dean whitson so far? He’s top drawer and we are lucky to have him. I’m surprised a bigger club hasn’t came in for him.2 -
Great win against a strong Tranent team., who will no doubt be up there this season.
Dunbar were down to the bare bones today, with only 15 available....3 of which were keepers. Great heart and determination . Well done lads.
Backs to the wall stuff at times for Dunbar but they defended well. Although Tranent had the majority of possession they really struggled to create a lot of chances. Hit the post and a couple of long shots. Just felt it was one of they days. Some key players missing still or just coming back from injuries and not quite up to speed yet.
No excuse but thought the ref had a bit of a shocker today aswell.
Well done Dunbar and good luck in the next round2 -
fair comment but u know it wont happen
I know it won’t it won’t happen? How to u get that like. Hope we do. Hope Bonnyrigg win the lowland league aswell.0 -
Best cup team the last few years. Still need to do better in the league but hopefully challenge this year.

Max enjoying the challenge at the BU's so less of your 5hit stirring BigTboy.
Your new gaffer is going to watch u on Saturday lol0 -
Genuinely did apply when he was a Tranent though.

That’s a pretty poor reply from what I assume is an official account. Not really what you want to see as part of a senior league set up.
Your spot on. I’m surprised to see that myself.2 -
Short on numbers and still managing to win. Was a poor game though. Wind spoiled it. Howler from the berwick keeper for the 2nd. Think that’s going to sum up there season

It was the biggest crowd of the season for us and with it being international week it was no surprise. There was a good few Musselburgh fans aswell. Expecting another good crowd today.

Home tie is a bonus. Will be tough but one we are capable of winning.

Silly comment. Do u take defeat well? Strange bunch u are.
Jimmy savile behind the goals singing bouncy bouncy with the kids with his top off sums Bo’ness the place up for me.
