Think it was a plan to put us off our game. It worked in the first half. By the second half the grass grew a bit and by the 88th minute it had grown to a level we could play on. Game over!
Go back 3 years on our thread and you will see those exact sentiments from Falkirk fans. Luckily we changed our board and are now fan led and the difference is marked. Appointing a manager that can manage also helped.
Most people had QOTS down as third top in their league predictions at the start of the season. You have done very poorly and it has to be down to a rookie manager. We fell into that one also.
On the FB page theres a video of the Ultras in Stirling Train station after the game. God that brought back memories from a lot of years ago. Cant stop singing that song now!
Well balanced. A lot of praise and a little bit encouragement for more fan involvement. I really wish that i had the dosh to pay £100 a month but surely some more can?
Mr McGlynn has already commented on your bowling green. He said the pitch should be a great leveler as Stirling is full of farmers so should cope better than the silky Bairns
We often talk about players playing for the jersey and it is not common. I think that this team is the first for a long time that has showed a great desire to do well for Falkirk. I am sure that the Ultras 1876 play a big part in the development of that feeling on the park. You only have to look at the team approaching that section after a win to see the strong connection.
Major rebuild puts the fear of death into me! Previous rebuilds ie Hartley,Hughes,McKinnon caused major problems. We have a lot more than 6 who could handle the step up - if it comes!
It was genuine. I think you could beat Cove or Montrose but Alloa would be a harder ask. What i have seen of the bottom end of the Championship i dont think they are unbeatable.
Teams are filling their box with big defenders to stop the effect of crosses a bit. This is where we need to be a bit cute and mix it. The goal last night involved passing in the penalty area and it worked. Small point as we are coasting but could make it a bit easier on ourselves
I remember McGlynn saying that it will become more important that we have a squad of good players rather than a good first 11 as the season progresses. This is very true. We only get to see the players on the park and we dont see them in training. Little knocks dont mean a player cannot play but does mean at times that a game as sub would be better. He knows about issues we dont see
Hendo must be in with a shout as player of the year. He is our strength in midfield, a threat in the box and then tonight played a star role at CH. Some boy!
