Take empty water bottles too, plenty of airports have drinking fountains that you can fill up once you are through security. It'll save you paying a small fortune for bottled water - especially if you have kids.

Absolutely, just finished Now We Are Dead - An offshoot of the McRae series. You don't have to but try and read the books in order, there are a few recurring themes/stories. I see the new McRae one is out in June.

Had some Maori hangi last week and was glorious. Admittedly it looks rank but I loved it. Chicken, lamb, beef, pumpkin, potato and onions. Traditionally it is cooked in a pit of hot stones and then covered with earth. I think this one was steamed in a homemade oven though.

I've been in New Zealand for two weeks now and apparently it's unusually warm for their Autumn. I'd say it's been like a good Scottish summer so far. It's the humidity that I couldn't handle to be honest, my daughter and son in law were saying the summer was terrible. They keep saying that it does get cold in the winter but not as cold as the south island. Just googled it - An average of 13 in the winter, which is like a normal Scottish summer ! It's been great for us on holiday, especially for my son who's been in the sea and rivers swimming everyday. I couldn't work/live in this constantly. I genuinely prefer our climate. My wife on the other hand thinks anything under 22 degrees is freezing and would easily swap.

I've been offered three months for £10 with a new provider. Don't know the details as yet, just chatting to the reseller via Twitter just now. The reseller I have is offering people with 3-12 months left on their Ace - 3 months free. A bit annoying that I only took out the three months last week, so I was right on the cut off point for tge three free months.

I've just paid for three months, don't expect any cash back but I wonder if I'll be offered an alternative

I'm glad I only read the first sentence of that before watching the finale. I've always had this nagging thing about Henshall that one minute he's brilliant, the next: He.is.inter.view.ing.his.next.sus.pect. Gladly that has now been blown out the water. Brilliant acting/writing from beginning to end and sorry to see it finish.
