  1. I honestly would take Madianga and Henvey back in a heartbeat. However, looking at that list leaves you in doubt as to why we were relegated last season.....
  2. Completely unacceptable that this has slipped off the first page of the forum topics, so a quick update: McCall is a fat, shoe-shitting-in DAB, who has never won a derby as a manger. Kenny Miller has a crap taste in jackets whilst punditing on the telly and all their other players are absolute numpties; with the honourable exception of Gary Harkins. Dees to win 8-0, with everyone on the park looking to impress Jack Ross, who is watching from the stands as an invited guest of the Board...
  3. I was waiting for one of Doris or Linn to score yesterday, so maybe we have finally got that particular monkey off our backs... Would like to think that we will continue yesterday's more promising form, but 40-odd years of experience warn me not to be too optimistic. I thought McGowan and Dorrans worked well together yesterday, so those two and Robertson in midfield, please.
  4. Absolutely no danger whatsoever of this coming back to haunt you. Nope, none at all.....
  5. Unfortunately, you have to be a member of the European Broadcasting Union to enter Eurovision, so I doubt that is likely for a football club. Nice idea, though. Wait a minute, you were trying to make a joke there, weren't you???
  6. First of three massive, must-win games for us. Which means we won't...
  7. Pretty much this. If we can't get a minimum of 7 points from 9 here, then we are looking at 5th (4th at a massive push) as a realistic target. 9 points and we might just about be optimistic in looking at the top spots. Cue 89 minutes of total domination but no goals on Friday, followed by a last-minute sucker punch....
  8. Sweep on how long before he's out injured??? Seriously, though, if he can keep fit and on form, this is a tremendous signing.
  9. Nowhere enough hot posting action on this thread, so: C'mon Dundee, get right into these West Coast, Renfrewshire, Hamilton-Accies-co-conspiring wannabe weegie wankers. (Was actually trying to think up more Morten-based insults, but coming up blank (as the missus would say))
  10. Am going to miss this one due to work, so can only hope that we will absolutely pump them 6-0. However, can see a drab 0-0 instead...
  11. I occasionally have to go to Elgin for my work and, apart from the Cathedral, it's an absolute shitehole. Batter them* as a punishment for living in such a horrible place and making me have to there, please Dees. * will count any victory as a battering...
  12. I love the fact that the press release/statement says that we "thank him for his efforts while at Dens"
  13. Going to be watching this in a pub, hopefully it won't be full of DABS going on about Wankland, unless we stuff them, in which case, GIRFUY.
  14. We should sign him and then send him on loan to Dunfermline before the weekend
  15. Putting my 40-odd years of Dee supporting experience to use we have: Opposition we beat only a few weeks ago, an excellent performance against a much better side (on paper at least) in the last match, our talismanic returning-hero striker hopefully back in the starting XI, and the feel-good/optimism factor returning to the fans. We all know this is set up for a prime Dundee "fall flat on your face and make a spectacular arse of it". We will lose 1-0 to a deflected 88th minutes goal after battering the ICT goal for 87 minutes and missing 11 gilt-edged chances...
  16. Quite impressively, almost 3 hours after the draw, it still doesn't appear to be up on the BBC Scotland website, despite the fact that one of the Bigot Brothers still has some kind of interest in it...
  17. Most of the games will be on the Saturday - could only imagine a game being on the Sunday if it was picked for TV. There should be at least 1 Sunday game, with both us and the DABS being drawn at home...
  18. Down-on-their-luck Aberdeen facing an uphill, tricky European tie, coming off a depressingly bad result against St Mirren, take on an unbeaten Dundee, who have only conceded in one competitive match out of 6 so far and have their talismanic striker returned to them, and their other two strikers playing well and scoring regularly. Only one outcome. 3-1 to the sheep.
  19. Away in holiday and just checked in to see what’s happening... Please say this happens, will make all the crap since this time last year worthwhile...
