  1. Not sure that's correct - a few games between proper teams and colts sides in the Challenge Cup have been free or a token couple of quid in previous years. Normally there is a rule about prices if the clubs can't agree a price, but that's usually the normal home ticket price unless there is a minimum set somewhere in the competition rulebook. Exact wording from this years Competition Regulations - Board Minimum Prices for Ground Admission for Challenge Cup Matches All Clubs/clubs competing in the competition: Adult - £10.00; and Juveniles and Senior Citizens - £5.00 (subject that the Home Club may decide to permit entry to the Match to all U12s without charge).
  2. Never even thought tbh, we put them up last year although we feel we give real value for money wether its the matchday experience, hospitality or through our season ticket pricing or installments payments Think next year we will see a few of the bigger clubs increase the pricing as the Lowland League grows and there may be VAT to factor in for some clubs too, £8 is about right amount at this level so we feel theres value at £7.
  3. Its set by the SPFL Gogsy, minimum entry is £10. We would have been our normal price had the rule not been in place.
  4. Ronan McMurchie, 17 year old newly signed with our u20’s. started against Thornton, looks a talent in the new crop of young boys that will make up our 20’s.
  5. No reason was given. Strange they have fixed up another game on the same date. Definitely lose out on a few bob that’s for sure, we have fixed up another game so the only people who loose out are HOB financially, the way they have come out of cancelling the game and the locals who would have enjoyed the match.
  6. Only started 3 or 4 games with our 20s due to injury problems that have hampered him for 2 seasons now. Looked a talent at U20s level when he played but didn’t see enough of him. No risk signing for you guys.
  7. Same things been said of the club for the last 5 year. A Club can’t go bust if it doesn’t have any debt, silly. Take it you know how a football club and business works?
  8. Get a f**king grip, dry your eyes 1st then pop down to Kelty and see exactly how the clubs run. Hard work during the week and on matchdays and local business’s who put their profits made over the years into Kelty Hearts and the Community. Coming over really bitter.
  9. Gourley hasn’t even had an offer from Kelty. Looks like players playing the game trying to get the best deal they can. £500pw for a youth keeper who would have been on £150 full time at Dundee, come on.
  10. Cool, grants are very thin on the ground as most of the EOS clubs will know about. All grants are geared for Community Clubs who are a charitable status and rightly so. We took the decision as club to go ltd like all other SPFL clubs.
  11. Any links to grants that cover seated stand for a Ltd company? Theres the SFP thats it £10k max.
  12. Its strange no one asks where the £150,000 for the new seated stand come from last season but as soon as a few big players are linked its "where does the money come from?" "is it sustainable" etc. If it becomes unsustainable for any club they cut their cloth, main thing is theres no debt from any investment attached to the Football Club which there isnt at Kelty unlike a host of other clubs at all levels. Investing in the facilities is as important of having a squad that can challenge, its been happening the past 5 years at Kelty Hearts.
  13. Of the 20 players that are in the current u20's squad, a fair few of them are too old for next season. Itl be a bit of a rebuild with younger players joining the existing boys young enough in the 20's setup. You may see the club aligning with another club to farm out some players so they are playing mens football weekly to help their development aswell as run a younger 20's model.
  14. You know all about a deal that was meant to be confidential agreed by email between both clubs, you seem a tad bitter and your post history has links to Hawick. Mmmm.
  15. No idea, If we managed to get Sean in last week I’m no sure it would have been more of a issue bringing him to the club in the summer if we didn’t. If the club and a player wants a move then it usually happens at this level. Gala were well compensated, no doubt about that.
