  1. I was a bit mixed about him going or not but he must be on a decent wage so probably for the best he goes and we use the wages elsewhere.
  2. Wilson on his way to Salford tonight according to the sun.
  3. Would have been interesting to see how he would have done if he was put in a settled position in defence but was never really much of a chance of that happening. Guy clearly wasn't a midfielder but McInnes seemed determined to make him the new Dom Ball.
  4. Vyner being recalled by the look of it. Would imagine that's one they'll feel they have to try and replace. Even less options at full back without him. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/exclusive-bristol-city-set-cut-3793765.amp?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar&__twitter_impression=true
  5. Tory MP’s intern says Tories are good and SNP are bad! Hard to know how anyone will recover from this bombshell of a development.
  6. Well they didnt. They quoted some random Columbian coach who said he was good enough to play for Barcelona and then used a clickbait title to get people in but I get your point obviously.
  7. To be fair Scott Burns and one of the local journalists have both said people at Carlisle said there is a clause. Nothing more specific than that though.
  8. Was an immediate transfer with a loan back. Think we got 2-300k for him. No idea if we have a clause or not. Would be grand if we did, especially as we're getting nowt for Ryan Fraser.
  9. If it was the other way round why would I think it was dumb of Aberdeen? I'd think it was dumb of whatever club allowed a clause like that to be added when there was no reason for the buying side to allow it.
  10. Because Aberdeen already had the player signed on a pre-contract that wouldn't have had any such clause. Carlisle were the club that pushed to bring the deal forward so Aberdeen allowing a clause like that to be added would be remarkably dumb. Obviously noone would have expected Cosgrove to progress the way he has but even so.
  11. Malky's a seething, paranoid mess. Must think anyone involved in any kind of Scottish institution is a Nat and has to be kept down so they don't get ideas above their station.
  12. Not really sure what the fans were expecting? He's hardly going to say he and McInnes are delighted at being slagged off.
  13. Would Carlisle even be due much of the solidarity payment? He was there less than a year. I'm guessing Wigan and possibly Everton would get a bigger chunk of it if that's how it works?
  14. And Carlisle were the ones pushing the deal through whereas Tommy Wright seemingly didn't want Kennedy to go.
  15. Yeah there’d be zero logic to Aberdeen allowing a clause like that to be added for a player they already had signed on a pre-contract. Carlisle also mentioned nothing of the clause when the deal was done, only that they got a bit more money. Just sounds like someone trying to save a bit of face well after the fact to me. Is a weird one though as one side is going to look bad after a deal is done either way.
  16. Haha that was my Initial draft post but I changed it as the thought seemed to be too horrific to last for the rest of the season. I see Scott Burns has said someone he spoke to at Carlisle said they had a clause for Cosgrove so somebodies telling porkies.
  17. McInnes would just sign some 6 foot odd 19 year old on loan from down south and have the defenders lash the ball up to him instead.
  18. I can see them accepting a decent offer as long as they get 24 hours to bring someone random in on loan. What they determine as a decent offer I'm not sure. I'd imagine they probably regret turning down some of the McKenna bids as we don't look like getting that kind of money offered again.
  19. Good to see. Suppose there is the chance that McInnes is holding back on some details but it doesn't really make sense for there to be a sell on clause anyway. We had him on a pre-contract and were only due to pay a nominal fee. Would make no sense for us to pay more money and also add on some clause (especially a significant sell on share as some are claiming). Seeing as it was Carlisle that approached us to do the deal early and it's not like he was going straight in as our first choice at the time too.
  20. I wonder if I went to any hospital would all the staff there tell me exactly what i wanted to fuel an argument on the Internet too?
  21. I almost never watch the weekly wrestling live anymore but thought i’d Watch to see what Edge did tonight. Didn’t expect him to be on first thing but seeing the exact same promo saying he was on live later what must have been five or six times in the first hour I just got annoyed and turned it off. Is the show normally this repetitive?
  22. Not really. My point was that there were recent instances of players showing unusual talent in this league, standing out for non OF teams and getting big money moves and the money spent down there seems to go up all the time. I don't necessarily think Cosgrove would be a big success down there either but that doesn't mean an English club might not be willing to take the risk.
  23. What about Mcginn and Robertson? Obviously I’m not saying Cosgrove is going on to be as good as them but I feel his impact in Scotland isn’t much different to what those players did before heading down south. The fact he’s young and English will work in his favour too.
  24. From what I remember (and that might not be perfect recall either) it felt at the time that the unionist parties were pushing for the referendum just as much as the SNP were after they got the majority. They were confident that the result would be a walkover and the SNP's credibility would be shot and that would be them done by the time the next election came up. The SNP themselves seemed wary about pushing too hard for it at the time too.
  25. So why are Stoke seemingly willing to bid £2 million then?
