Hello John Auld pal .
Thank you for todays pumping (expected).
From a sour grapes of point of view I think yer ground is a mix of Heriot Watt and Meadowbank and that's been a few years for yourselves to improve.
One sides grounds won't work for your ambitions.
Best wishes by the way.
Hope you’re keeping well newky.
Been along time since your team first visited kpark in what was our very first home game at this level.
No sour grapes at all pal. The ground hasn’t changed much since your first visit with the exception of the added stand behind the goal. Matchday experince could be a hell of a lot better. Problem is its deemed good enough for this level and wont change untill we move up the leagues. (If we ever manage that)I wasnt there today so never got the chance to see how yous are looking. But for old times sake, get it up yeh!!
Best of luck for the rest of the season mate.

What’s your thoughts on the weekends outburst? You’ve always come across as a sensible poster.
I think it was exactly just that. What looked like an outburst. Online. Maybe after a few shandies. Think he has seen the guy having a pop and him and reacted. Not the best of reaction may i add. But not deserving of the flack it got either in my opinion. He felt the guy was attacking him and responded. Could have handled it much better though no doubt. Hooefully he learns to bite his tounge from now on. At least on a public online profile.

Never been at the Showpark one on my list.
The ground itself isn’t great. Needs a good bit of money spent on it. But its in heart of village with plenty of places round about it to cater for all.

Cheers shame its not nearer the centre of the town but I don't suppose there is much land for a football stadium there.
The showpark (ek thistles home ground) is right in the heart of the village. Ideal location for pubs, restraunts, social clubs etc. There were serious talks about ekfc redeveloping and moving there before they built kpark. Plans and everything were in place. But it never happened for a variety of reasons. But it would have been the perfect spot. Would have been a far better match day experience with better transport link ups. But what do i know.

Sure the plans for a new stadium go back as far as the 20017 play off where about in the town would it be?
Its not that far from the ground just now. Its at langlands. Problem is its just as remote, but with no pubs or social clubs nearby so i hope they factor that into the stadium plans.

I think the lowland should open up relegation spots. I always have. I think most would agree on that. There should also be automatic promotion at the top end. But that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. You sre always going to end up with self preservation. Its not right. But how do you make turkeys vote for christmas?
But wishing clubs to go bust is a tragic look. Its a game of football ffs!4 -

If, as seems quite possible, you went up to div two this time around, would you still play at K park?
There are plans in place for a new stadium. Has been for some time now. The manager made comment at the start of the season saying it would only be feasible if we made our way up the leagues. So not sure of the timescale. But all planning is there ready to go.

This is a tremendously petty long held grudge, I love it.
Petty grudge. Maybe. But also facts. Standing on a grassy hill in the pissing rain 2 miles from the pitch. Yet kpark is a shithole.

Theres defo something in it. He has spoke to clyde. Just a wait to see if they have turned his head enough. I thought clyde would have wanted it done and dusted before weekend so maybe he isnt fancying it.
