He left club at start of season.0 -
5??? Points behind us?

We really miss a victoria or a smith. Guys who always got us goals. Boys up top just now dont seem to carry the same threat.

I do t think we are disagreeing; I understand what you are saying, it’s just that I cannot take to a side without tradition. We all have likes and dislikes and we are all different regards these, thank goodness otherwise there would be no point to forums, was it Alan Hanson who said “footballs all about opinion”. Enjoy what’s left if the evening
Alan hanson is a p***k aswell.0 -
hahahaha don’t worry mate you’ve just summed up the EK support! Good result today, good to see the shire playing well
The away watching the old firm part was a piss take. The rest was completely true.0 -
Thank f@ck i was away watching the old firm!!!! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] fair play. Some result. I did call it at start of week. Didnt see a 5-0 humping right enough. Well played shire. Right back in the mix.

Seems to me that the EK news is doing its best to exert a bit of pressure on BSC, which is fair enough. However, they seem to forget that Spartans aren’t far behind either.
Doubt this very much. Just an article done for ek locals in the local paper. Dont think it was intended to reach out to bsc and spread panic. Just a paperfiller. Puts more pressure on ek if anything. And so it should with a tough game against shire on top of allready being 5 points behind bsc. And nobody is forgeting spartans, or the uni or shire or colts. All still in it.1 -
I should be back for Saturday's game. EK are at home and will be targeting winning the league again whilst we're obviously off form in the league atm. The 2 squad budgets are quite different so it's a massive task if I'm being honest.
However, on the other hand if EK may have an off day we'll defo be in with more than a shout. Didn't make EK last season so looking forward to a day out at a new ground [emoji4]
Think it will be a tight game even if we play well to be honest. Not much between the teams i dont think. Hope you enjoy ur first visit to kpark. Just not to much.0 -
Fingers crossed baxter[emoji106] we need yous to slip up somewhere. Will need to tell newky to get them fired up to do us a favour[emoji3]

This is what happens. People start picking holes in everything your club does when yous are top of the league. Get used to it[emoji51] hillonearth had a very well put together post there which he put across as he saw it. Fair play to him. He was called out as being a kid on in the know. So he served up what seemed like an honest account of how he saw things. Trying to chase him out of thread is a poor defence to what he had to say. Makes it look like everything he said was true.

I don't know newky but the way everyone goes on about alloa you would think it was on the moon lol it's 35 minutes from Glasgow
Alloa is a great wee ground. It is only 35 mins from glasgow but it always seems longer for some reason when u drive it. Feel like ur driving all day.lol0 -
Would it not be worth looking at investing some money in pitch at maryhill rather than a complete new build somewhere else? Would surely be a cheaper option?
2 -
What happened with maryhill juniours? Was there a fall out? Would have thought that would have been ideal groundshare.

Was petershill not mentioned as being a new home?

Ur spot on jinky. Most teams in league are capable on there day of taking points of anyone. Thats why i think it will be tight all the way this year. I still expect shire to come good aswell. Makes for an exciting season. Hopefully plenty to talk about on here.

Fair points jerry. I would say yous guys are the team to beat to be honest. Ek just dont seem to be clicking just now. Hopefully that will change. Sure it will be tight between a few teams this year.

I agree that he may well be a decent signing for bsc. It was more the statement of intent part that i thought was a little over the top.
0 -
A real statement of intent. BSC the team to catch this season.
Dont really agree judge. Cant see the boy getting a game before jack smith atm. Might turn out to be a good signing for bsc as he done well there last season. I never saw anything from him the few times i saw him to suggest a statement of intent tho. I would have jack smith in there all day long.0 -
It's called a joke. As in a sense of humour. Not to your taste it seems but sure I know.
Sense of humour? Casual racisim? Same thing really i suppose.0 -
Good win yesterday from a goal down. Team not as strong as last season but still getting the results. Never made the game. Anyone on here get to it? How did game go?
