Would it not be worth looking at investing some money in pitch at maryhill rather than a complete new build somewhere else? Would surely be a cheaper option?

What happened with maryhill juniours? Was there a fall out? Would have thought that would have been ideal groundshare.

Was petershill not mentioned as being a new home?

Ur spot on jinky. Most teams in league are capable on there day of taking points of anyone. Thats why i think it will be tight all the way this year. I still expect shire to come good aswell. Makes for an exciting season. Hopefully plenty to talk about on here.

Fair points jerry. I would say yous guys are the team to beat to be honest. Ek just dont seem to be clicking just now. Hopefully that will change. Sure it will be tight between a few teams this year.

I agree that he may well be a decent signing for bsc. It was more the statement of intent part that i thought was a little over the top.

A real statement of intent. BSC the team to catch this season.
Dont really agree judge. Cant see the boy getting a game before jack smith atm. Might turn out to be a good signing for bsc as he done well there last season. I never saw anything from him the few times i saw him to suggest a statement of intent tho. I would have jack smith in there all day long.0 -
It's called a joke. As in a sense of humour. Not to your taste it seems but sure I know.
Sense of humour? Casual racisim? Same thing really i suppose.0 -
Good win yesterday from a goal down. Team not as strong as last season but still getting the results. Never made the game. Anyone on here get to it? How did game go?

This has really gone off topic. Good luck to Welfare today against Gretna and here is hoping for a good win for BSC.
I hope the both of your teams get humped.lol nah best of luck chaps[emoji106] enjoy ur day.0 -

See martin lauchlan is back in game with strathclyde uni.

I can remember no that long ago EK were in denial aboot paying any of their players far less a manager.
It's a funny old game
Newky, you are a big wooden spoon. You should know better[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]0 -
Bpek the truth hurts. If I don't have the answers I will get them in less than 24 hours. Under the table deals are the norm at ek, this isn't a big secret is it?
What a bellend u are.0 -
No arguement from me newky. I totally agree. Bsc are the form team. I said it on another thread before the first ball was kicked that i fancied them to be up there with the players they brought in over the summer. Long season tho as you know. And plenty teams capable of taking points of any team on there day. Shows how strong league is getting year on year.

We have been getting called a boys club for years now. Seems to be when your club starts doing well on the park others pick the bones out of your history and set up. Good luck to yous. Let the results do the talking.0 -
Think u are going a wee bit over the top mate. A manager left under bad terms. We dont know the ins and outs of it but if he had a contract and he never broke any terms of it then he will get his money. Club obviously feel they have some kinda case or he would have been paid. Happens at loads of clubs. Dosent mean club is in a mess. Far from it. I think we will struggle to win it this year as alot of teams look really good this year. Will still be up there competeing tho. Shamefull, doubt it.

Lot of bad press around EK just now i here except in the local.paper for only reasons known to club and its paper but sticking your heads in the sand and hoping it will go away not the right way to go about business for any future players, Managers or new support coming in....
Still suprised Stark took the job but for how long even the man himself must be wondering shall i hang around with the doubt this could happen to me...
Personal level im only truly bothered about my club and was concerned we may have to play EK in a play off last season, Wouldnt care half as much now looking ahead...
Bleak times for a club that were going places looking in on last seasons results...
Shameful
You been on the beers mate????0 -
Very distasteful in regards to Martin. He worked his socks off and took the players and club on a incredible journey. The trophys and records set don't lie. Credit to the playing and coaching staff tho for achieving what they did even tho they fell at the final hurdle.
The proof will be in the pudding as I can't see any board members or the owners commenting on situation as it would be very amateurish and foolish
There's no secret that a deal was done in regards to bonuses etc. But let's not forget the success they had and we all know in football success comes at a price
Nobody on here has ever questioned his record or the work that he done with ek. It was first class. As you say, results are there to see. The problem most folk on the forum had with him was his general arrogant attitude that usually came across. I stuck up for him more than most last year but even i had a few cringe moments with some of the stuff he was coming away with. Bottom line is he done a good job. Was a penalty kick away from getting club where they want to be. But he still managed to piss 99% of folk on here[emoji51]
If he was promised bonus money then he is due it. Good luck to him.0 -
Can anyone suggest the best place to park near the ground for our cup game on Saturday?
Someone suggested Calderglen Park, but it looks like there's a barrier.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Best place is at the new farm pub. 5 min walk through and miss most of traffic from the park.0 -
If he is due the money he should be paid, regardless of people's opinion of him.
If it was in his contract then the man should be paid up. Some dough though for league and cup when main aim was getting up.0 -
Always said he was a walloper[emoji2]
