  1. Must say I'm not unhappy at a wee trip to Kilwinning for Rovers.
  2. The draw for the 4th round takes place live on YouTube at 7pm tomorrow (Monday). Hopefully they'll have a half decent internet connection at their end this time!
  3. A satisfying 5-0 away win for Rovers at Armadale today.
  4. I see that you guys are visiting Cliftonhill on Tue 28th November 7.45
  5. Some of our fixtures have been rescheduled. Away to Cowdenbeath Tue 31st October no k-o time mentioned Home to Broomhill Tue 28th November 7.45 Also our home game against Stirling Uni was brought forward by 24hrs to Tue 17th October
  6. Do the Lowland League ever re-schedule games or is it just left to the whims of the clubs involved? Rumour is that Rovers tried to arrange a couple in recent weeks but were turned down by the opposition. After todays' postponement we have 5 outstanding games, 4 were due to cup commitments.
  7. Glad we entertained everyone and didn't let down our pretty decent travelling support too. Haven't heard a crowd mentioned but perhaps 500 or more?
  8. Pollok v Gala Fairydean Rovers for the BBC as both are big scorers!
  9. They're conserving their resources for the Monday night football spectacular from Forthbank which will propel Bright Prince and Joe Bevan to international stardom on BBC Scotland channel. Stirling Uni v Albion Rovers
  10. I knew it wasn't Nairns day when they had that triple effort on goal, rattling the metalwork with one of them but failing to put the damn ball in the net.
  11. I suggest having a look at the following The broadband universal service If you can’t get a download speed of at least 10 Mbit/s and an upload speed of at least 1 Mbit/s (this is defined as a 'decent connection'), you can request an upgraded connection. You can make this request to BT, or to KCOM if you live in the Hull area. You don't need to be an existing customer of BT or KCOM to apply. https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/broadband-uso-need-to-know
  12. I've been at the Volley many times and I've never had any problems or seen any bother so don't anticipate any this time either. Can't see it being a walkover but Rovers should win this.
  13. Not as comfortable a win as many Rovers fans (me included) expected. Albion Rovers 3-2 West Park Utd Rovers could have scored a barrel load in the first half and rattled the post and bar. 2-0 at h-t was acceptable, we were less chuffed with an equaliser by WPU in 90+1 but didn't have much time to complain when Denholm who is on loan from Livvy scored the winner in 90+2 Anybody know when the draw for round 3 is?
  14. Albion Rovers v West Park Utd. 3pm k-o The fixture is pay at the gate, Adults £8, Concessions £4. Concessions include U16s, O65s and Students U12’s free if accompanied by an adult. This is the cheapest Rovers have charged at Cliftonhill for a 1st team game in quite a few years. We believe this is the first ever prog issued for a West Park Utd. game.
  15. Why don't I trust these conveniently round numbers? For a start Rovers had perhaps 80 or more fans at SU on Wednesday and they defo had significantly more than 20 of their own.
  16. Their pie shop was open last night at our LL game although they didn't use their Tannoy at all.
  17. They put Rovers out of the cup at Cliftonhill last season and we beat them 9 years ago in the cup at Forthbank. Rovers have been doing quite well, we’ve played several games less than other LL sides. Add to that SU had a very good season last year and that Rovers are recently relegated as well as the convenience of being at Stirling all combine to have us on TV. despite all this I’m surprised!
  18. Must say I’m shocked they picked a Rovers game but the extra cash will be useful.
  19. So us Rovers fans have to get up early on a Saturday morning!
  20. You may have a better chance of success by campaigning for a game that's actually happening such as Brora v Berwick or Wick v Jeanfield Swifts
  21. It's a bargain at twice the price It's not easy when you have no money and have to reduce your prices on joining the LL. Haven't seen you lot at Cliftonhill since 2014/15 when we won the league despite losing twice to Shire at home and managing 2 wins at Ochilview. Overall Rovers have won 106 times against Shire, drawn 42 and lost 68.
  22. A superb win away to Bo'ness tonight. Despite a poorly taken penalty and a red card we managed to score and hang on against a determined home side 1-0.
