How can the SNP possibly offer both?

Well if you want an independent Scotland. Vote for an Independent Scotland. Then campaign for Scotland to leave the EU. The whole point of leaving the UK is that it gives Scotland (and only Scotland) the choice on where it's future lies. As long as we're part of the UK, Scotland cannot collectively decide on it's own future.

Westminster do want it to happen. If they didn't want it to happen, the official result would have been different. Just like the remain campaign during the Scottish Ref, the leave campaign had the rich and powerful elite and their media friends on side. It was always going to be a NO in Scotland and it was always going to be a LEAVE in the UK. It was set up that way right from the start. All those politicians acting so disappointed about the result are actually rubbing their hands together. They can't wait for the UK to become the worlds biggest tax haven with no investment in public services. It suits them perfectly.

So can any Brexiters on here actually explain what they thought they were voting for? Seems to me that they can't agree on what they were voting for. Brexiters squabbling over what Brexit actually means, because none really ever had a clue what they were voting for in the first place.

There was "flip flopping uncertainty" because they didn't want the UK to split up. But then again, they never predicted that the UK was packing it's bags.... Their attitude will be somewhat different this time around.

Good luck convincing people that we wouldn't be able to join the EU when we already meet all of the requirements to do so.

The leave camp won on fear. So British people are in fact morons who respond to simplistic scare stories. It doesn't just apply to Scotland.

It's the level of politicking that won the leave vote. The more fick as thuck these politicians are, the more the general public trust their judgement.

I can imagine that argument now "You welshes are all English!" "We're not English! We're British and proud!" Which pretty much confirms it tbh.

It was the snobby elite and the snobbish sympathizers that voted to leave. Not a single person who voted NO did so with anybody other than themselves in mind.
