Walking Down The Halbeath Road
The Toun Clock replied to Parscelona's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Wonder if there’s anything to the Agyeman rumour as I see the player is actually named in McPake’s Thursday interview. Normally with those things no names are mentioned, obviously McPake has played it down but he has to. -
Dunfermline vs Peterhead 14/01 15:00
The Toun Clock replied to 101's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Looking at our results away to Peterhead and Clyde makes the four dropped points from the home games even worse. In fairness Clyde were actually better than us that day, but Peterhead were quiet until we chucked it with 5 to go. Hopefully a home win, be nice to have Fisher confirmed as staying, maybe even one in the door before then to add to the competition. Please just score early Pars so we're not chucking the kitchen sink at it with 10 to go. -

McPake's comments are that he wants to keep him until the summer so he must've seen enough to know he could come in handy. Notice now the resheuduled Dundee game won't be on Alba. -

Craig Carins from the Courier has posted an interview with Dundee manager Gary Bowyer, talking about Sam Fisher. Sounds like he's going to be with us until the end of the season without actually confirming that, they've been really impressed with how he's done and sounds like they have big plans for him going forward. Bowyer speaks to him after every game too which will be good for his development too. -

Not surprised, imagine having to play for Falkirk, the poor child. -

Need to get Fisher confirmed. Mahon actually showed some good play in his brief appearances but hasn't featured much lately so wouldn't be totally gutted if he went back to Motherwell if it meant getting someone with a bit more experience in the door. I actually think we might get one or two permanents in this window. That coupled with a loan or two would be great. -

One of the reporters from Dunf Press posted some photos, has now just posted another to say it looks like a pitch inspection is happening - maybe the club know this isn't going to go ahead. Be a shocker of a late call off. -

I've family in Ireland and have a couple of O'Neill's items too, quality is very good and they do a good number of bespoke items from what I've seen. -

To be fair the courier did post exactly that a matter of minutes ago but looks like he’s going to Glentoran. -

Kane Ritchie-Hosler confirmed as staying on loan until the end of the season. Good news, now let’s get Mochrie, Fisher and Mahon and a couple newbies! -

Aye you're probably right mate. At times in the season I'd have let any of the front four go but it's now only really O'Hara that needs to prove himself this season. Wighton been really good since injury, Todorov scoring important goals and is a general nuisance, McCann comes off the bench to score the winner in his first game backk Also, if McPake's comments are anything to go by O'Hara isn't going anywhere. I'd need to get changed if we did end up announcing Agyeman. I notice Falkirk have managed to get rid of a few of their duds so I'd expect them to strengthen in the window. Equally McPake said we had some very interesting things going on behind the scenes. I take it the loans can play tomorrow. There's been no news on them going back, re-signing for the remainder of the season apart from forum rumours. I assume something must be confirmed ahead of tomorrow. -

I didn't bother buying the home and away kit this season, very lazy with them both being the same minus the colour. I do quite like the third kit and might buy that for playing 7's etc. I felt last season's revamp of the green & purple classic and the maroon/navy this season was also very lazy. We've had two kits that should be looked at as collectors items and both have been very poor. My personal choice would be Errea but quite like the Macron stuff too. Agree with the above post from the Airdrie fan, their kits with Umbro have been class. Home one last season looked brilliant and the blue one they wore at East End earlier in the season was really cool. Be interesting to see what comes. -

Some of the Errea stuff is absolutely class, notably some of their ICT shirts and Iceland. -

Noticed a couple of weeks back Grangemouth FC announced O’Neill’s as their new kit manufacturer. Any idea if the Joma deal is up at the end of the season, and if so who might be coming in? -

Daily Record reporting Linfield are in pole position to sign Agyeman from Kelty Hearts but Dunfermline and Falkirk also interested. Would be very good if we could get him in. -
Top of the table clash with a chance for the hosts to go top (Pars having two games in hand). Big game, hoping we're looking at it as a chance to create more distance, I'm sure JMcP will be making that clear to the players. Think it'll be very much like the game at East End last year, tight but with a narrow win for Dunfermline.

Dunfermline v Falkirk
The Toun Clock replied to Bairnardo's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Was bitterly disappointed that the game was off yesterday, I was checking the grass in my garden and surrounding streets and it didn’t look too bad, thawing out etc but as I drove towards the City centre some areas without sunlight were all white and frozen, unfortunately East End falls into that category. Over it quite quickly as I love a midweek game under the lights (assuming that’s when this’ll be on). Hope we don’t have to wait too long until the rearranged game but our January is mobbed, even one of the Tuesdays in January occupied with a trip to Dens for the Challenge Cup. Plus we already have an away fixture with Airdrie that we’re waiting on a date for. Both teams likely to strengthen by time we meet again so we might even play nice football when we beat you this time… -

I think it’s more that it failed when turned on, hasn’t been used in some time as opposed to paying for it it to go on. Saying that, I think the club were always against using it unless worthwhile. If we were playing Peterhead today I think we’d all have accepted a call off. -

I’ve seen a photo of the pitch, looks better than I thought it might, groundsmen out on it. Looks a hell of a lot better than the one Morton just posted which has a 10:45 inspection. -
