Hibs have looked the better side in all three outings against Dundee. A deserved win and there can be no complaints. Don't get how they've had such a bad season from what i've witnessed this season. It looks like it's a straight shoot out between the HiDees for sixth. Thank you.

We're clearly better than the diddies this season but lacking against the better teams. What's the reason? Looking to next season we need to add more pace. Out of Boateng, Sylla, McCowan and Cameron you couldn't call any of them bad players but for that extra level you need more grit and speed. At right back McGhee has been very useful of late but he still isn't top six quality. He's earned his right to be in the squad next season but we should be looking to improve. Goalkeeping errors of late against St Mirren and Hibs have cost us against top six rivals. Really poor from Carson who is clearly a good goalkeeper which is the most frustrating thing. As for the strikers, when up against your non dugmeat variety of teams they've not been upto scratch unfortunately. We need more pace in that area aswell. If we wanted a really strong top six contending side I think the only players we could have in our starting 11 are Carson( on his day), Lamie, Sylla and McCowan - not including loan players. Hopefully Astley can show something before the seasons end and a fully fit Main can definitely contribute to a successful squad. Thank you.

The best team won today as they've looked against us all season. When you look at our results against Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs, Kilmarnock and St Mirren it's probably one of the worst returns in the division. We're not quite there yet, but we are in with a shout of top six with seven games until the split. Three points needed against Kilmarnock next Saturday and if it doesn't come we can have no complains over a bottom six finish. The game was in the balance today and Carson had a howler. Not good enough despite the decent display afterwards from him. The strikers in particular also failing to deliver against the better teams. All steps in the process though and it shouldn't be forgotten a year ago we were looking like losing out on the Championship title to a woeful Queens Park side. Thank you.

Maybe you've lost them cause it didn't happen. If you mention dominant with heading I immediately think of Ashcroft at Aberdeen and pretty much every game he plays. That's his main attribute. I've never came away with that feeling with Shaughnessy, plus he's a different build. Wouldn't exactly call him a colossus although for the record of course he's twice the player of Ashcroft. His reading of the game does negate his pace issues and he does communicate better than most defenders - probably why he's captain. He's been very shaky the last month however and that's facts. Let's hope on Saturday he's back on it and I'd definitely be playing a back three with the likes of Boyle on the big pitch in Leith. Thank you.

Not for me. Beck is more important to the team than Shaughnessy by a considerable distance. Beck missing at LB can't be replaced, not just with his defensive abilities but with his assists and contribution to the attacking phase of our play. A back three of Lamie; Donnely and Portales wouldn't see much difference. The core of the team would include Sylla or Boateng as they are more closely linked to the defensive side. Of course you're entitled to your view and i'll have mine. Thank you.

He's not at the centre of everything defensively, simple as that, although as Spuddy alluded to he's a brilliant communicator and probably just what the likes of Donnelly and Beck need. He's been an important part of the squad this season and overall has contributed well. In a back three he's excelled in some matches whilst notching a few important goals which has raised his stock with the fans . In a back two he's struggled multiple times and St Johnstone taegetted him almost scoring on multiple occasions had they not been dugmeat. It's not that wild to suggest Lamie would perform better there in the two. Didn't ask for him to be dropped and as Captain it's not going to happen anyway. Just pointing out the facts and he's no colossus in the air don't know if I've missed that - he's just a very competent centre back (which is a great improvement on recent years). No he's not. Beck and McCowan would be ahead of him as first picks. Thank you.

Big Joe has been one of our worst performers over the past few weeks and his pace causes issues which may come to a head at Easter Road. May sound out the blue but it's also true. It is what it is; if someone uses it well it can pay them in their lengthy career where three months unpaid will be a drop in the ocean.
