  1. The South Stand upper isn't open and I don't think the most southernly corners of East/West stands (A2, A3, G7) have been on sale either. Apart from that the remaining sections are either sold out or close to being sold out. I'd hope for about 40,000
  2. Thanks all. Going to give the Killoch bar in Neilston a go. Seems to have a large, fairly recently revamped beer garden.
  3. Your location says Greenock so if then I'd park in a street in Shawlands and make the 20 min walk to/from the ground. Easy to get to the motorway from there.
  4. I'm looking to have a few drinks before heading to the game. Pubs around Hampden are always busy, it's a pain in the neck getting the train from the city centre to Mount Florida shortly before k.o. and it's too long by public transport from the West End. I was actually thinking about heading to Neilston (a place I've never been before), having a few hours in a quietish pub then getting an empty train the 15 mins to Mount Florida. I'm not concerned about Covid. I just want some peace and quiet! Is this an excellent plan or a terrible one?
  5. Pay up Marshall's contract so there is no chance he can ever feature for us again. A pub level goalkeeper.
  6. Any village/town with some sort notable 'gala day' type event which bizarrely seems like a very big deal to locals should not be allowed out of Junior football.
  7. People on Twitter etc. who announce that they're expecting a child in a 'football new signing' fashion should have their child/children taken into care.
  8. The Lowland League is comprised of 4 or 5 reasonable teams and the rest are total dross. It's far too easy to look good in a majority of games when playing for one of the better teams.
  9. Applying for a mask exemption certificate when you don't need one is bizarre behaviour. Might as well pen V.L. on your forehead.
  10. I've just seen a St. Mirren fan with a drum. Only correct course of action for that sort of behaviour is The Warriors being awarded a 3-0 victory.
  11. There is only one more home league cup game and it's sold out. There is only 1 home league game (Stirling Albion) before all social distancing restrictions are due to be lifted. The terracing being open requires more money for stewarding but it might be a decent idea to have it open for all games if some people are feeling a bit anxious and would like the option for a bit more distancing.
  12. Thoroughly looking forward to booing the team off for the first time in 16 months
  13. I think we've assembled a very solid squad. Distinct lack of wee boys to make up the numbers. Almost all experienced players (at a variety of levels). I don't think we'll be near the title but we'll be competitive. In the past we've had a few very good technical players and wondered why we weren't doing well. Bunch of good lower league jobbers
  14. Do what you fucking want but don't boast about some minor rule breach like you're a 16 year old VL bragging to their friend about having a Smirnoff Ice
  15. I apologise to your mum for my conduct 16 years ago.
  16. I was hoping they wouldn't get symptoms so then wouldn't get tested, add to the numbers, cause others to isolate and cause more hassle
  17. It doesn't make a huge difference and shouldn't slow down easing of restrictions but am a bit disappointed by the number of fully vaccinated people I know who have since caught covid and been unwell (just general flu type symptoms).
  18. I suppose mainly about how much they actually like football.
  19. I'm deeply suspicious of any fan of a traditional senior team that hasn't been to the vast majority of the 42 'league grounds' by the time they're 30.
  20. I was signing into pubs with my real details as I was choking for 10 days off work.
  21. The willingness for a club's fans to offer forgiveness to sex offenders is proportional to how good they are.
  22. Fairly random idea for a topic, but with fans being priced out of football at the top levels, I was wondering if people knew what admission prices for club at this level were throughout the years. Vaguely recall it being £7 at Ochilview in the mid 90's.
