  1. Not really. Having the pro leave voices inside the government, rather than outside the tent pissing in over the last 20 years may have resulted in a more moderate settlement, such as EFTA or a Norway style deal negotiated without a referendum. As opposed to the hard as f**k, titanium plated, cliff edge no deal brexit that has resulted from a binary referendum, that nobody apart from an extreme minority wanted.
  2. This picture is from an attack by ETA in Spain, back in the day when the Basque lads were a bit naughty. Check how high they've launched that motor.
  3. They currently pay 40% right ? Let's bump that up to 50% for starters.
  4. I earn less than the average UK wage, so that would seem a bit extreme as that would be a hell of a lot of people. Given that I'm one of those people who think that 99.9% of people are arseholes, I'm sorely tempted.
  5. I'd start with anyone who has reached a level of wealth where they feel obliged to try and hide their wealth and assets abroad or indulge in tax avoidance loopholes. Anyone earning at least 3x the average uk wage should be taxed more also.
  6. I'm going to be brutally honest here, I'd much prefer to guillotine them and take it all.
  7. If we had PR at some point in the last 40 years, perhaps we would have ended up with some sort of 'Norway' style deal or EFTA membership and avoided having a referendum and all this nonsense of the last 4 years.
  8. Excuse me sir, I'm an officer from Her Majesty's Wallet Inspectorate. May I have a word ?
  9. The big man looking like a vision on the course today. 'Wild thing, you make my heart sing'
  10. I'll take all this with a pinch of salt m9. You are merely a healthcare professional, therefore your opinion on this carries no more weight than facebook maws and Matt Le Tissier.
  11. Hearing that you can have your nana round for Christmas dinner, but can't go round to her house on boxing day for a steak pie ?? Madness !!!1!!1
  12. Proper equal federalism would require salami slicing England into about 15 different parts and that's just never going to happen, neither is having a country of 1.5 or 3 or 5 million telling one of 55 million what to do.
  13. Will the ex god emperor stand as an independent green and split the green vote ?
  14. All that time spent setting up the twitter account smh.
  15. Only by pooling and sharing our tiddlywinks wealth and knowledge can we improve peoples lives across these islands.
  16. These are all people I've genuinely been told I look like at various points in my life to possibly play me in any p&b production. BBC special. Foreign language film. Musical. Straight to DVD flop. Hollywood blockbuster.
  17. The shite local level stuff will very much be part of the strategy in the next GE for the tories in the north of England. I'd guess that they'll run a mixture of the Goldsmith and Bailey campaigns for London mayor. A combination of appeals to bigotry and outright lying/shifting blame. Blame the devolved administrations and labour councils for the post brexit and coronavirus shitfest. 'We won you a glorious brexit, but your local labour council have ruined it by closing the library in favour of building muslim transgender toilets'
