  1. Saving that for wherever Joel sits next time he's here.
  2. And all the other championship clubs in general are sound boys. With a couple notable exceptions.
  3. I'd trade our automatic relegation so I got to laugh at Hearts spunking £6million and not going up.
  4. Liberty, fraternity, embarrassing the maroon half of the capital city. Balls.
  5. How much do you think the refs ears are ringing right now though?
  6. With this being the only Championship game of tomorrow I wonder if the BBC will send someone to cover the game...
  7. I'll be down later at the ground. It's all been salted aswell so it's as prepared as it can be. But tomorrow's forecast looks 'ok' barring the chance of snow showers during the game.
  8. If anyone's after a programme then order it today before 4pm. You might still get it before the game on Saturday if you're late but it's not guaranteed.
  9. Just to make you feel old. Comfortably before my time Even then, when they did the new astro, they dug up the ground even more for extra drainage. I don't think Livingston had the same extent of groundworks done to it by the images I saw at their park. One of the Scotland games recently where Hampden was a swamp and in the same conditions our park was sublime.
  10. To be fair didn't the recs used to be a bog all the time? It's the temperature that will kill us if it's -8. Sand holds a lot less moisture than soil but we've had referees in the past say the surface is too hard in cold conditions..
  11. Some of us will not degrade ourselves for money, thank you.
  12. I only need £4k to complete the one man band approach.
  13. Some of us do it on a single machine while operating the camera. But then you risk doing what I did on Saturday
  14. I think it helped Inverness official position that Hearts proposed promoting 2nd placed Inverness. I can guarantee every club would have voted the same in those circumstances. I see Hearts fans tagging @alloaathleticfc with "look what you could have had if you voted for us".... but then taking that to it's logical conclusion that would mean Hearts would have never been in the league and we wouldn't have made any money off them in the same way that in the last 6 years they've not contributed to our income in any way.... I think ICT are probably still shy of our total money made from Hearts this season but they'll be passing it in the next day or two. Fair play to the gesture though. When they were losing £872,000 I had the fear about them surviving. I quite like Inverness, mainly because Robbo is so likeable, and our games have in general been a pretty good watch whenever we meet.
  15. If the games on I would like to say my goodbyes to everyone. Going to take my life in my hands and attempt the drive up and down on the night
  16. Just going to ask what everyone's thinking... This games getting bumped down the line surely?
  17. I keep floating it to our players because they sit behind the commentary team. Noone seems up for it though
  18. Yeah you're 100% right @Waspie. I'm just on the windup this morning. Jim Goodwin used to complain our chances get cut out of away games but ours were too unbiased. Nowadays I try to aim for 10 minutes. But whatever interests me goes in, hence the throwin nonsense. Stevie Hetherington's customary yellow card, and Jamieson's tackle just felt like a bit of dead time before they were cut.
  19. Don't mistake me for having journalistic integrity
  20. "Graham was onside only due to the grounded Shields" I expect a written apology and a public correction on the qosfc website now
  21. I believe it's an indictment of journalism these days that it's not about commenting on what definitely happened and then let people judge for themselves, it's about grabbing eyes. That match report is a bit spurious. But then a prominent journalist from an Edinburgh paper invented the other week that Alloa's astroturf pitch was frozen. I suspect in the hopes of having a laugh at the expense of an "all weather pitch" being postponed. He was only 150 miles out. If that's what's classed as professional I don't hold much hopes for someone that's only a student.
  22. It was utterly innocuous. It was a waste of time to put it in the highlights. Match_2.mp4
