Pretty sure it's because the BBC have non-exclusive rights so if you want to chuck your money to any club on telly you can still buy the PPV. Premier on the other hand are the only show in town. They've allowed streaming for the games they don't want to show for at least the second round. Pretty sure I won't care for the next round.

Daniel Stendel clearly a parody character. I don't know how seriously I could take him. How much of that is down to it being a second language deal is up for debate. The zoom is digital. So you get an 8k 180 degree shot and then you have a viewing window that's controlled (previously by the AI) If you zoom right in then you may well be under 1080p. Pixellot's function is only useful as a wide camera imo. Any detail especially on the far side corners of the park you need something with an optical zoom. Now I've spoken to them and it's technically feasible to mix other cameras/graphics/replays and send it to the OTT that we've bought from them. As long as it doesn't interfere with the blank IMG feed that's the next thing we'll be doing. Needless to say that means you'll be stuck with what you've got now. Also makes syncing commentary a ton easier than doing it through Spalk.

I know I discussed doing ours with them but they'd rather have their own operator so it was solely their responsibility. Still think that means I should invoice them for £160.

Well I used it last week against Dundee and today and it's first outing was BSC Glasgow's game the week before. The day's are running into each other for me. Unless that was a midweek game. I don't remember.

Bizarrely thought the footage from the Pixellot camera was coping with the fog much better than the BBC camera. When the fog really rolled in the floodlights just became like looking into the sun... I'm glad the camera was human controlled, otherwise it would have been a debacle.

Yeah! We made a small profit. The boy at GPfootball might have some in stock still if you're still looking but we've already made our money off the programmes he's selling. He's agreed to buy a fair bunch for every game so from here on in we should be printing every game. If you want to buy the Stenhousemuir one early I'll make the cover and put a stock item in the shop on Monday. I can accommodate as many orders as we need before they get sent to print. What I don't want is having a fair whack left at the end of any games so I don't order a massive amount above and beyond the early orders.
