  1. I thought it was nothing. He's bust a gut to get in front but when he does he's got nothing to lean on and falls over. Harsh to give him a yellow.
  2. Season ticket is just the league games. I've put all the youth games on it too (I think). Because we have to share the 'gate' for cup games we had to ask Pixellot how to structure it but that was sorted last week.
  3. I've yet to look at it but I've got two games test footage before I'll recommend you to buy a subscription to our game on Tuesday. It will hopefully run as smoothly as the Airdrieonian's game midweek which was Pixellot. Livingston were using QTV.... I think that's the same as Hearts, for future warning. At least we managed one win in Livi
  4. Looking into that. From the streaming side I know I can do it, we've got a nice new capture card that's crystal clear. It's just the payment, delivery side. On the plus side for tonight nothing will get missed. I have my traditional setup. So we'll not have the same problems of the Albion Rovers missed goal.
  5. Honestly, existential dread for the pixellot system. From the game Airdrie showed for free last week against Albion Rovers it was much improved. Their latest patch seems to have introduced more problems for us. I'm hopeful for Montrose and Airdrie tonight but if it's a disaster... A week is not enough time to test our own system,
  6. I think you're fine. Pixellot were working on their OTT so they can do PPV. I think that's it implemented.
  7. Same deal get a link - pay for PPV - watch https://airdriefc.univtec.com/home This is Airdrie's I don't think they're directing people to it yet because it's a 24 hour pass. So if you were to buy it now it'd run out before the kickoff tomorrow.
  8. Honestly get fired into pixellot on twitter. Make sure to tag @alloaathleticfc so I don't miss it. My ambition is to get the second platform done before next week. In practice we may have to wait til the first league match but after that you'll have the choice of manual camera or pixellot. There's not a price saving if all the games are streamed this year. Basically your season ticket is just getting you first place in the queue to get in. Unless you are an OAP then by all means get your season ticket for a lot less!
  9. Pixellot - once they've the pricing - you'll get a link 1) sign up 2) buy a 24hr pass for PPV for the betfred 3) watch game For league games I've asked if we can give out all the games in bulk or we have to manually gift passes for season tickets. Not been told anymore on the coupons. If pixellot is terrible. There'll be more news to come.... Will be like Morton's system where you login to the club website. Hopefully that work can be done before next week.
  10. Yeah I'm certainly going to take it up with the powers that be to see what they think. I don't mind allocating someone some space beside me or god forbid sending them over to the empty away stand. Or make them all multitask like I do. Either's quite fair imo.
  11. I can guarantee clubs will be lax in sharing their footage. It was a problem last year. It's the same problems with pictures in my opinion. Like I said when I do everything in one... I don't see the logic.
  12. Being honest though, not 100% percent sure of the logic to that decision. We had 4 cameras against Kilmarnock. It's not hard to give an away team some space of their own.
  13. Nonsense SD, we're sending our camera operator, website editor, social media guy, video analyst, graphic designer and sysadmin to all our games. Might even have a photographer at some games.
  14. I think Arbroath are too. We've got contingency in place in case it's a bit of a disaster. Would be a similar system to Morton where it's all integrated into the club website.
  15. There's a right to go to a pub. But no right to go to a football game. The NHS won't be overwhelmed by over 65's because they were socially distanced at a football game. I can't speak for the number of Sauchie's fans but the difference between no fans and 60 dotted around a standard football pitch is 300 quid at a fiver a go. Could Alloa put on a commercially viable event with social distancing? Maybe. It would be good to be able to try it. For smaller teams or for other small teams in the SPFL I can't understand any reason why not.
  16. They'll be let in because they're human beings and they've made the decision to buy a season ticket. If they can socially distance they can be treated like anyone else. But like I said I'm not expecting an over 65 to be charging round the stands. I'd say the restrictions are in place not to specifically protect them but not to overwhelm the NHS. Binning the season will lead to clubs going under. Sauchie Juniors our other local team have been very vocal. They need the fans or they need help. There is no binning the season and hoping they can pick up the pieces in a year or more. And I think that's why Mike says it's political. The test events showed that fans in stadiums can work. It's political will that's keeping any 'customers' out of stadiums.
  17. So here's the plan to that. It will be season ticket holders for the foreseeable future. We record everyone sitting where. When you're on the camera breaking social distancing you won't be back. Most of our season ticket holders are over 65s. Don't see them running 2m to hug their pal.
  18. I'll stump up my own opinion and say it's much safer for me to go to the football OUTDOORS than sit INSIDE the pub watching football for two hours. But ok hospitality will go under without customers so we let people in. Football is being thrown to the wolves make no mistake about it.
  19. I think we're going to look better than Morton. Not impressed with that effort.
