I had my Advanced Higher History exam today. I had to hold in a piss for 3 and a half hours whilst in the most unimaginable pain I have ever had the misfortune to suffer. I was close to tears.
I fell asleep during the lecture on the Politics course at the Open Day back in September. At least I stayed, almost everyone else in the room walked out.
Got all my uni offers back the other day. Probably going to accept Strathclyde for History and Politics. History course looks quite good and the Politics one is apparently fantastic.
At least a foot of snow in my garden. The Caledonian Canal bit that runs thorugh Inverness is frozen over. 3ft of snow at least in the Milton of Leys/Daviot area apparently.
Could get another week of school if it gets worse by Monday.
Tender Is The Night - F. Scott Fitzgerald
Read "The Great Gatsby" last year in Higher English and thought it was great. Both books run along a similar line but they are very good.
Uni next year looks good. Two replies out of five back.
Conditional for Strathclyde (History & Politics)
Unconditional for Stirling (History & Politics)
3 more replies to wait for. Strathclyde looks a good bet now though.
Well I've only ever been to 1 gig. And that was in October. The Enemy supported by The Wombats and Lethal Bizzle.
I might go see The Courteeners when they come to the Raigmore in February, that's if there isn't a stupid age limit
