We’ll see with time, but given the sneaky tactics that are becoming the norm it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we are being normalised for a whole-season stay at Ochilview to allow Lesser to be completed on three sides, including the social club refurb. This might well be cost-negative but having big travelling supports will offset rental, buses etc to some degree. Either way, it’s a mess.

If we've paid £50k to Stenny as has been suggested,  that's not an amount you pay to play half a dozen games in the first couple months of the season, that's an amount you pay to play there for the entire season.

I take it we have abandoned our "traditional" Captain's armband?

Bearing in mind the nonsense that is Lesser Hampden, the captain's armband is small beer, but it's disappointing if it has been decided to ditch the Spielfurhrer armband.

Another two fingers to the fans, especially those who worked to build a relationship with the Wattenscheid fans.

Would like to know who made the decision - surely it can't be our chief executive who told us at the March meeting how impressed she was with the club's history and traditions?

A rather abrupt no reply email reminder from the club has arrived:

    Hello xxxxxxxx,

Your membership with Queens Park Football Club will expire on: 2022-07-09

After 2022-07-09 your seat / membership will be cancelled and available to the public.

You can renew your membership using this link:

Well that's it for me. Thus ends 19 years of season ticket buying, even during the Commonwealth Games exile in Airdrie where I didn't attend a single game but still kept the ticket going. As for this season there's away games at Firhill, New Douglas Park and Cappielow plus maybe, just maybe, an occasional game at Ochilview to look forward to. Perhaps Lesser Hampden will be ready next spring? Who knows. I'm beginning to not really care anymore.

And within a couple of hours an apology email, think someone has had their gonads kicked!

Absolutely dying for a rumour here.

The rumour amongst the more mature blue rinse brigade of the southside is that the club has bought the hairdresser's that sits beside the car park at Lesser

Whether it's to give cut and blow dries at half time or to extend the car park by a few square metres is to be confirmed....

Agree. I will not be renewing my season ticket until some credible timetable for Lesser is issued. I have no intention of travelling to Stenhousemuir (no offence to them ) for "home" games. Lesser appears to be being built by a bunch of cowboys who come in when they have spare time from their proper job. Rome was built more quickly than this and it was not built in a day. It is such a shame when all other aspects of the club are beginning to click. Even if/when it is finished it will we totally unsuitable for our expectations. The directors' stand is a joke and I would like an explanation from the club why in 2022/2023 this is a necessary requirement.

Apparently the end of September is the current target for completion of Lesser.

Whether we are allowed to move back then if the target is met, or made to wait until after 18 games (like 2014) is another matter.

Good news on the buses.... good news for members and season ticket holders anyway.

I suppose this is a good incentive to get more members and season tickets... not sure there will be many making that decision until we know when lesser will be ready tho.

I would wait and see how much membership/season tickets are increased by before saying that this is good news.

I'm not sure if Yeats is still under contract, but I'd be absolutely looking for a back-up to Robson as well. During the PO Final when it was looking like Robson may have needed to have come off you were terrified as to who'd be the replacement. Be interesting to see if any of the boys in our youth set-up are ready to make the jump up to Championship level; then again....we have got a habit of producing not bad left-backs...

    Cameron Bruce?

Who holds the people at the club accountable for this sort of misleading chat? If they’re in lesser before Christmas it’ll be nothing short of a miracle. So why not just speak plainly and be honest with fans.

Remember our CEO was saying last August that Lesser could be ready by January 22, in March she said we should be in by August. She doesn't do her credibility any good by making nonsense statements like these.

Not being from the area I'm not up to the situation but would it have been feasible, cheaper and have a bigger stadium by doin up Cathkin, or is it out of the question?

Feasible, but more expensive. Think it would have taken some serious dough, but loads of space so could have built a stadium with a modest capacity to start with and then extended it if the circumstances called for it.

Does anyone know what the filming was for at Saturdays match? Dempster was being interviewed in the stand before the game, and then Coyle was doing the same after the awards. It looked like the same guy was also filming the game from the corner too.

A piece for half time at tomorrow's Thistle match on BBC perhaps?

I genuinely can’t believe it has gone under the radar in the manner that it has. It was like the soaps where a character just changes actor and you’re just meant to pretend nothing has happened. A total reverse Samson effect as well. Thought he was excellent at the beginning of the season.

The hair has sapped his footballing prowess from him.

Despite the lack of interest in this one, what is up for grabs?

A draw secures us 3rd place and the excitement that a trip to Airdrie brings. More importantly,  an extra £75,000 in sponsorship prize money.

I'd expect SP to rest some players with an eye on the play offs but I think we'll get the point that we need.

This has got a 1-1 draw written all over it.

An extra £75k? If it's SPFL prize money you're talking about then it's about a £2.5k difference between third and fourth.
