Jack Ross moaning about his Hibs sacking in Murdoch’s rag. That would maybe suggest that there wouldn’t be anything contractual that would hold him up until March.

Interesting interview, says he's had a couple of offers already but they "didn't feel right", also says that he is open to working abroad. Him and his family still live in the North East of England.

So who exactly is picking the team on Saturday

    The player?

The guy who used to manage us, got sacked, then came back as head of the youth academy?

The guy who may or may not work for us and is a long time assistant for someone who most of us would be quite happy to see get the job?

Players have been told it's Marijn Beuker and John Potter - new manager won't start until March.

You forgot about the goalkeeper coach.

I saw it the other day, and it does look like no recent progress. I'm hoping maybe contractors back tomorrow, but beyond basic architectural drawings (not civil and structural), I don't believe we have any real detail on the groundwork and overall project programme. It's not possible that a ground survey wasn't carried out at a very early stage.

    Is it?

The usual half dozen workers were back on site today.

With planning permission still to be approved and the amount of work required it's hard to see Lesser being ready for next season (which kicks off in six months time) unless there's a serious upping of the work rate.

Demolishing a building from the 1830's before you've got Planning Permission to do so is pretty risky, listing or not

I'm not familiar with the planning permission process but do you need that for demolishing a non-listed building? Is the planning application not for the building of the replacement structure rather than the demolition of the existing building?

Are we expecting Leeann at the AGM or is it the ‘she can’t attend coz she’s not a member’ patter?

Also - it’s covering the accounts til Dec 2020? Is that normal or a bit mad?

You could have the AGM and then have a Q&A straight afterwards which she could attend.

In normal times we would have had the 2020 accounts by mid April and the AGM in May, even in COVID times it's difficult to understand why it took an additional eight months to produce the accounts, we're hardly an international conglomerate.

There should continue be supporter representation within whatever structure we proceed with, but we’ve absolutely got to modernise and make it more attractive to supporters to engage with.

Given that communication with supporters/members has only been done when the club had to do it (threat of an EGM, company law), it doesn't suggest that supporter/member engagement is high on their list of priorities.

The club talk about building the fanbase but sticking two fingers up at the supporters they already have is a strange way to go about it.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this at the AGM in a couple of weeks. At least Dempster won't be there this time to stonewall so let's see if the committee aren't as evasive with our questions.

Not sure how much the committee will be able to tell us as they are not making any decisions.

Hopefully it's built with a view to extending it with 'normal' seats at each end at a later date.

This. I hope all the plans allow for relatively easy extensions throughout the stadium in the future if required.

With hindsight we build the JB for what we needed at the time with no thought about what may be needed in the future.

Just viewed yesterdays highlights on the QP website, my thoughts

5th goal the corner kick was about 1 metre away from the spot

I think that's what you call clutching at straws!

And, as mentioned on the match thread, it was the same spot Falkirk took their corners from in the first half.

There must be something up at that corner because in the first half, we were taking them from the exact same spot. The Queen's fans were going mental about it at the time but went a bit quiet about it in the second half.

What's the point in being a football fan if you can't be a hypocrite?

Concrete pouring going on today when I went past Lesser, looks like most of the foundations have now been poured, steel for the framework has also appeared in the last few days. A trench is also being dug at the the front of the stand.

The trench is now almost fully filled with steel reinforcement bars and concrete.

What looks like concrete moulds have also been laid at the southern end of the stand for the base of the stand.

Also signs of work on the western side of the ground over the last couple of days with the farmhouse shell now surrounded by scaffolding.

  13. Surely we are heading towards a shareholder structure?

It will be interesting to see how Haughey's money is shown in the accounts, I wonder if they be recorded as loans rather than donations, and the loans will then be converted to equity In a move to a shareholder structure, with members each given a small number of shares for giving up their membership.
