  1. Agree with the generally positive response to Wednesday's meeting, but I am disappointed that we are going to open with a capacity under 1,000.

We got a 2,000+ attendance in our first game back after the Commonwealth Games (in the middle of winter), and with the amount of engagement with local schools and community groups recently you would hope there's a lot of potential fans out there who would want to watch us at Lesser when we return.

I'm concerned that if we turn people away once they might not bother to come back.

We all want to be back at Lesser asap but I would rather wait until we have a larger capacity and we can have as many people as possible getting into the habit of coming to every home game right from the off.

Think we are being a bit unambitious to open with a sub 1,000 capacity - even if we got it up to around 2,000 somehow it would be a lot better for our return.

Bit of a riddy being about 500 years old and not knowing the offside rule imo

Bit of a riddy for the Clyde number 7 for throwing a hissy fit when we took a free kick for offside three yards inside the Clyde half because he doesn't know the offside rules.

His success has not gone unnoticed either, with reports in the last few days claiming Scottish League One team Queen of the South are ready to lure Coyle - who was born in Scotland but picked up one cap for the Republic of Ireland as a player - back to Britain.

Credit to Darcy, a worldy of a strike. Tells you where our mentality is when we’re running over the to the bench to celebrate an equaliser at home to a bottom half side with five minutes left. If Fraser Fyvie screams one in for Cove in similar circumstances, they’re getting the ball out of the net, facing Alloa down and carrying themselves like a team who fancies winning the game.

Agree 100% with you, but to be fair to Bob McHugh, his reaction was to get the ball off the Alloa keeper and get it back to the centre circle asap

Thought we might have had movement on the coach front this week. Now convinced it’s Owen Coyle and we’re awaiting the end of the Indian Super League playoffs. Can’t think of any other reason for the delay now.

His team are playing in the semi finals today and Tuesday, final a week on Sunday if they get through.

Can’t compare amateur QP’s achievements with the current setup. We were in the mix for the playoffs until late in 16/17 under Gus and ended up four points off them. We overachieved that season and we’re underachieving now. Certainly enjoyed that season more than this.

According to fitbastats.com, the current team are just two points better off than the amateur side of 16/17 and have won three games less than them at the same stage of the season.

These games aren’t stewarded. If we advertised it we’d have to pay for stewards etc. Also these games are usually at unusual venues as we don’t have a stadium atm. Maybe this changes once we are in lesser, we’ll see

Fair enough, there was a picture in a recent match report which clearly showed a crowd in the background, presumably they would have been players parents then.

Well done to them, it's a pity the club don't advertise their fixtures in advance.

Talking of not advertising matches, according to a post on the domestic cup forum we are playing a Glasgow Cup tie against Celtic at Newlandsfield on Tuesday with a 1:00pm kick off.

Not publicising a game that has been organised for the middle of a working day, it's almost as if the club don't want fans at games.

There's four with seats plus two at the back for standing. The height of the roof and the extensions either side make it look impressive but the actual seating layout won't be much better than the gazebo at Alloa.

The workmen seem to have switched over to the west side of Lesser since the metal frame went up on the east side.

There's been some work in the dressing room area below the pavilion, and it looked today like they were demolishing the concrete terracing on the west side which had been poured by the original contractors 18 months ago.

Talking of missing but useful players, what happened to Stuart Morrison? Never seen any comments in the new temporary gaffer's pre-match story. Don't see him at fun-filled Lochinch either🤷‍♂️

He was at Broadwood on Saturday on crutches and wearing one of those big protective boots.

On another note, I was surprised to see them working on Lesser Hampden when I walked past about half 7 last Friday night. There’s usually not a lot going on when I go past during the day, hopefully this is the start of it progressing a bit quicker.

I've seen them working in the evening a couple of times over the last few days as well, there were also some in on Sunday.

Also looks like the last of the concrete has been poured to form the steps of the East Stand in the last day or two.
