  1. Not convinced that it’s over. United are away to Queen’s Park and Morton while we have three home games in the same period to get us both onto having played the same games.. If they even draw one then it gives us an opportunity to get back on terms. Needs us to be winning at home though.
  2. Comfortably beaten, no complaints at all. Had a sneaking suspicion all week that the whole rattled pish would backfire on us and so it proved. Team selection was bizarre and poor performances all over the field never really give us a chance. Think United neutralised our threats effectively with Stanton hardly contributing at all. Still not a done deal so we need to just keep going, especially to secure second place. And the c**t that threw a bottle. Please f**k off.
  3. It’ll be parked up in Kingskettle. They’ll talk about the drama of Uber Friday in Kirkcaldy for years to come.
  4. It’s pricey but probably the going rate for these things. Not a fan of the black tie pish. It’s a fitba do no the Oscars.
  5. Also some negative noises from our group about how Rovers have handled this. Felt there was no chance of United seeing sense with the tone of the Rovers stuff. Not sure being less antagonistic would have made any difference tho.
  6. Regardless of who made the decision and why, it’s pish that folk who would have loved to have been at this game can’t be when there will be plenty of empty seats in both ends.
  7. Appreciate that it’s just saying something for the sake of saying it but don’t really get Goodwin saying that United have been unlucky in the games between the side this season and now are somehow deserving of something. The games have been close but United have never managed to get in front in any of them and we’ve produced two moments of absolute quality to win the two matches we did win. Nothing lucky about it. Easton and Brown’s strikes were deserving of winning any game.
  8. The ticket thing is madness. Can understand United wanting to minimise the number of Rovers fans in the ground but doing that is also stopping more casual United fans and neutrals from taking in the game. Total stupidity. This game should be a showcase for lower league football and could have been close to capacity.
  9. Pleasantly surprised that Rovers chance is so high, although that’s more down to my pessimism. Would be interested in how the percentage swings if either us or United win on Saturday.
  10. VAR, The Old Firm, more defeats, relegation, no Fife Derby, grass pitch. Rovers Board have seen the promised land and thought f**k that.
  11. Still feels like a shot to nothing for us. Absolutely no fear next week.
  12. Great result at Tannadice today We should go up there and have every confidence we can win next Saturday.
  13. Hoping that Inverness can do us a favour and take something from United this weekend to set this up perfectly and help make it a shot to nothing for us. Even if not, it’s still a game we should go in to with confidence. Law of averages would make me think that Rovers can’t rack up another victory in this fixture but then again I thought the same just before we beat the Pars for the 5th time this season. Ticket stuff is daft but pretty sure whatever the number of Rovers fans there they will generate a great atmosphere.
  14. So are they giving us the whole Shed after all? Makes no sense
  15. SPFL Championship Form Guide Points Last Six Airdrie 11 Raith Rovers 11 Dundee Utd 10 Dunfermline 10 Ayr Utd 9 Queens Park 7 Inverness CT 7 Partick Thistle 5 Morton 5 Arbroath 5 Interesting to see us creeping back up to the top of this form table. Shows how we’ve steadied the ship since January/February. Also reinforces how much the points are being spread around teams. We’re joint top with plenty of points to play for. We’ve lost five league games all season. We’re guaranteed a play-off if we don’t get above United. Time for Rovers fans to get behind the team and just enjoy it.
  16. Huge defeat last night for United. Gives us a chance. It’s just a chance, but hopefully the lads take it today. Fucking c’mon Rovers.
  17. Strange that this is two days away and no match thread. United’s result on Friday will determine whether or not this is another must win for Rovers. Feels like our confidence and belief is coming back a bit after our wobble, but with Queen’s Park definitely a tougher prospect than earlier in the season then suspect it'll be tight. Would take another 3-2 with an injury time winner.
  18. Pars fans costing their club money by wrecking toilets. Rovers fans costing their club money by burning the pitch with flares. Could with both of them getting to f**k.
  19. Probably less complaints for the police putting the Pars march through an area like Links Street than past the bigger houses on the route that makes sense. Only reason I can think of for such a stupid decision.
  20. Behaviour seems to be slowly becoming worse. Not just a Rovers thing happening everywhere. The fact that anyone is throwing flares towards others fans or onto an artificial pitch is moronic. Club needs to get a grip on them.
  21. Great win yesterday. If we can follow it up with another win at Firhill it’d be brilliant. Not going to be easy though. Tuesday feels like another must win or at the very least a can’t lose. A bit frustrating at how the fixtures are scheduled as their midweek game has left us playing catch up a bit. United also play first next weekend and have a game the following Saturday when we don’t. So they’re getting opportunities to stretch their lead. Would prefer to be a point behind them putting pressure on them than having to always reduce a four point gap. Great to be in the mix at all though
  22. That’s a shame if he’s been released. Never really given a chance. I’m pretty much where everyone else is. Getting above United was always unlikely given their budget so to have given them a run for their money has been great and still not over yet. Even if we are in the Championship again then I’d trust Potter and Murray to sort out the defence and put us in a decent position to challenge again.
  23. Arbroath defeat looking even more important with United opening up a 4 point gap. Pars game looking like a bit of a must win as can’t see Arbroath winning at Tannadice
