    Tottenham under Ange Postecoglu is going pretty much the way I expected Tottenham under Ange Postecoglu to go. Exciting football, but concede a lot of goals and can't hold leads. Good fun to watch, but they likely won't win any silverware

    Canada had a chance to make the semi-finals of the Nations League tonight by seeing the tie against Jamaica over the line. We won the first leg in Jamaica 2-1 and held a 1-0 lead at halftime of the second leg. 3-1 up after 3/4 of the tie and looking good.... Then we shat the bed. Jamaica came out flying and quickly reminded everyone that Alastair Johnston is our only competent defender. Leon Bailey hitting the bar should have been a warning sign to our interim coach Mauro Biello to make smart changes and do something to manage the game but that didn't happen and Shamar Nicholson punished us twice in the space of 5 minutes to level the tie. Isma Kone put us back ahead before we conceded a penalty for a handball (which was a bit soft but a penalty by the letter of the law) that was duly conceded by Bobby Decordova-Reid. Unfortunately for us, CONCACAF are again being late to realize that the away goals rule is bullshit and so we went out on the away goals rule. I am pretty frustrated right now at the spineless collapse
